You cannot go wrong by following the successor of St. Peter. You are choosing not to do this. It is the will of Christ that you follow the direction of his Vicar. You are saying that you proudly will not. You are not able to make the decision on the validity of a Pope-this is not open to personal revelation. If you choose to leave the Church as you have you are rejecting your Catholicism and deluding yourself. It is called free will and you are exercising yours.

Trady you are missing the point. Since Jesus said the gates of hell will not prevail against His Church you are showing a lack of faith in what you are doing and saying. Right now you have placed yourself outside the Church and are saying you want to follow a Pope who is now dead instead of our current Pope. Since our current Pope leads the Church that Christ said hell will not conquer you are showing a total misunderstanding of where you should be in your faith. You have put yourself outside the Church and have nothing to offer except pining for a time gone by. The past is gone forever. No matter what you do for the rest of your life you'll never get what you are asking for, ever. You need to realize that you are mistaking your rebelliousness as a strength instead of the weakness that it really is. The Traditional Latin Mass is available within the Church if that is what you want to attend. You are not happy in what you are doing now and you are consumed with anger. The devil is tricking you into believing you are acting righteously when in fact you are in a state of rebellion. You'll do alot more good by coming back into the Church if you want to influence people than you will shouting your discontent from outside of it. Write down everything you are angry about and ask yourself if you think you'll live to see these things change or if you'll die with these things as they are and your spirit still troubled.
