You then state that Christianity is somehow in your mind united to various idealogies therefore forming "an unholy union". You are a confused individual RomanCandle and I'll repeat that you are on the wrong side of history. I've already answered the question multiple times on the right and wrong side of the issue of terrorism. You are not correct in your assertions and you keep flailing around mixing multitudes of instances and issues, stirring more confusion into your already confused state of mind. Jihadists need to be killed and terrorism needs to be fought as the evil it is-end of story.

Kfarley, I was once asked by an American reporter whilst taking part in a demonstration, “What group do you represent”? I promptly replied, “humanity”! What it all really boils down to is: I am firstly a Human Being; secondly a Christian; and thirdly a Roman Catholic. As for what Kingdom I owe my allegiance to? It has to be the Kingdom of Heaven. No earthly land or kingdom comes before the heavenly kingdom. When the Church climbs into bed with the State, it leaves its conscience at the foot of the bed. If Christianity is united to ANY ideology such as Zionism, Marxism or Nationalism - an unholy union has been formed - for our God is a jealous God; intolerant of infidelity or disloyalty. Kfarley, when I read the statements you made in your previous post, it’s like reading a bulletin issued by the Israeli “Hasbara” public relations department. I note you have an Irish surname, so I’ll go for an Irish analogy. Let’s suppose settlers come to the land of Ireland and progressively “acquire” the land, moving the long term residents off their land into an ever decreasing amount of land. Would you, as an Irishman, accept these actions as being fair and just? But worse still, the remaining amount of land offered to the Irish (22%) is effectively split into three territories with no real passage being allowed for the Irish to meet their family relatives. Would you, as an Irishman, accept this situation? But let’s go further still. The territory known as the Gaza Strip, a territory which has been described as the largest open air prison in the world. Where food, water and medicine are routinely restricted to the Palestinian people (Muslims & Christians) by the Israeli Defence Forces. A territory that has the densest population on the face of the earth. A territory which was bombed on a “pretext” from air, sea and land for 22 days in 2008 by the world‘s fourth largest military power; killing 1400 Gazans, of which 400 were children. Would you, as an Irishman, accept the starvation and systematic destruction of your people? What kind of human being would allow the displacement and destruction of a people in a land once blessed by the footsteps of the Messiah?

Missiles are constantly being lobbed at Israel by Palestinians from their settlements making them the aggressor not Israel. Israel is weary of their constant attacks and show more restraint towards them then they deserve. There is nothing Israel can do short of agreeing to have every citizen in Israel commit suicide and give them all their land for a new Palestine. Palestinians are the terrorists that threaten Israel and me both so it is easy for me to pick sides on this issue. Israel is a friend to me and fanatical Palestinians are not. Unfortunately you are a product of the liberal suicidal mindset media that you are buying into. You are portaying Palestinians as the victim instead of Israel. Israel has a tiny amount of land when you look at the entire country and the Palestinian wants Israel to give up the little bit of homeland that Israel has. I completely disagree with your premise RomanCandle and you are mixing too many different subjects into your argument. Between Palestinians and Israel, Israel is who I back 100%.

Kfarley, my reason for raising the issue of abortion is that the United States has the equivalent daily loss of American lives that occurred on the day of September 11. Kfarley, my reason for raising the issue of abortion is that the United States has the equivalent daily loss of American lives that occurred on the day of September 11. I also brought up the subject of abortion because the United States has lost the equivalent number of its citizens through surgical abortions equal to the sum total of all the soldiers and civilians killed in the Second World War (over 50 million). Kfarley, there is no disputing that there are verses in the Koran which are violent in nature. However, this is equally true of the Holy Bible, particularly so in the Old Testament. Scripture verses can be taken out of context by Muslims just as much as by Christians. A text out of context becomes a pretext. As for your quote, “Wipe Israel off the map”. The only country in the Middle East that I have seen wiped off the map in the 20th century is the historic land of Palestine. I supplied links to the Gloria TV videos in my previous post because they display classic propaganda techniques. The first video at Hyde Park Corner (London) focuses in on a group of no more than 50 Muslim demonstrators amongst the thousands of papal supporters lining the streets of London (Muslims Confront Pope Benedict XVI). The second video at Prince’s Gate (London) tightly focuses in on a group of no more than 25 Muslim demonstrators outside the London Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (gloria.tv/post/vMqJXGuWnPkH2vA24EZL9dh61). Should you wish to view the actual site of the Prince’s Gate demonstration, you can do so by using the following instructions (select Google Maps, input "SW7 1QQ" postal code into "search maps" box, drag & drop “orange man” on red locator, rotate navigation wheel as required, click on yellow tracking band arrow for final viewing placement). What is deceptive about this video is the linking of Remembrance Sunday ceremonies at home and abroad to a completely separate political demonstration that was taking place outside the London Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. The chilling statement towards the end of the video “Islamic hate for the West has to be eradicated by all means necessary” reminds me very much of the language used by the Nazis when speaking about the Jewish problem. The withholding of accurate information or the supplying of inaccurate information are the two sides of the same coin called “deception” and go against the Eight Commandment: “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour”, Exodus 20:16 (CCC 2464).

This number of muslims who are terrorist-minded is enough to infiltrate EVERY CITY ON EARTH-with Many Terrorists per City! The other so-caled "moderate muslims" who should ALL BE SPEAKING AGAINST TERRORISM are strangely silent. The islamic potential terrorist numbers are in the MILLIONS when you look at percentages. These millions of terror-minded individuals dedicate every waking moment to the teaching and promotion of "jihad" to infect the minds of other muslims. There are even cartoons made for muslim children with Mickey-Mouse-like characters telling them to be suicide bombers for allah! The number IS ANYTHING BUT SMALL RomanCandle. The koran dictates "converting or killing" the infidel and "wiping Israel off the map" is said all of the time by terrorists in English and in Arabic-both of these FACTS you dispute are common knowledge and not worthy of question. Abortion is a holocaust that unfortunately is going on all over the world and I hate it as you do. Islam is the subject of this video and point of this discussion however.

Kfarley, I am disappointed that you have chosen a small number of Muslims who have spoken out against the rule of democracy to represent the 1.6 million Muslims currently residing in the United Kingdom. This group of Muslims you allude to is Hizb ut-Tahrir (Party of Liberation); a pan-Islamic political organization whose ultimate goal is an Islamic caliphate. In the United Kingdom, Hizb ut-Tahrir has morphed into Al-Muhajiroun (The Emigrants), Islam4UK, and Muslims Against the Crusades (MAC). Muslims Against the Crusades managed to turn out 50 of its supporters at Hyde Park Corner for the demonstration against the passing papal cavalcade of Pope Benedict XVI (Muslims Confront Pope Benedict XVI) and 25 of its supporters for a demonstration outside the London Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan on Remembrance Day (gloria.tv/post/vMqJXGuWnPkH2vA24EZL9dh61). Kfarley, you then make the statement that "Islamic people regard Islamic law to supersede the laws of the country they live in”. I for one, am ruled by God’s law, before man’s law. If you were to witness a surgical abortion, I hope you would intervene despite your country’s legalisation of abortion. Pro choice advocates tell me that spontaneous abortion occurs in women all the time but there’s a world of difference between a person dying in their bed from a heart attack and being stabbed through the heart by an assailant. You further state that Muslims proclaim a “message of death” on the same day that your country has reached the figure of 53 million surgical abortions since the Roe v Wade decision in 1973. Feminists around the world are so blinded in their pursuit of women's rights that they do not even consider that they are killing their own sisters in the name of feminism! As for abortions in the United Kingdom, of every surgical abortion performed: 1-in-3 women will have had one or more abortions; 1-in-4 Christians will have had an abortion; and 1-in-300 Muslims will have had an abortion (Marie Stopes International). Kfarley, let me briefly deal with the vexed subject of mistranslation. The BBC, as did many other media outlets, transmitted the mistranslation of our Lady of Deliverance (Arabic word was not salvation) when speaking of the 2010 Baghdad Church Attack. Likewise, the quote taken from the words of Ayatollah Khomeini, “This regime occupying Jerusalem must vanish from the page of time” and restated by President Ahmadinejad, was mistranslated and widely used by media sources. It doesn’t matter how many times the words “wipe off Israel off the map” are repeated by misinformed individuals - no reputable Farsi scholar will support this shoddy translation. Kfarley, I have repeatedly read the words “convert or kill” being used by yourself and would like to know where this phrase can be found in the Koran?

RomanCandle I find your tastes in radio shows and news information to be comparable to my taste but I find it troubling that you who live in the United Kingdom and witness firsthand the disregard islamic citizens have for a governmental system you yourself live under have and the danger this presents. Islamic people regard islamic law to supercede the laws of the country they live in thus making "jihad" or terrorism not something even the "moderates" will condemn. Only token moderate muslims come out and make occasional statements against terrorism but do not actively do anything more than do lip service to peace. Their voices are drown out by the "death to the infidel" that is a trillion times louder within the muslim community-there is no contest-the message of death prevails in islamic dialogue. "Wipe Israel off the map", "Convert or Kill" are the prevelant islamic messages making headway-NOT-messages of peace from the world of islam. I started my talk radio listening with Rush but Rush is a Republican sycophant and uneducated (high school only) and I found Michael Savage with a doctorate from Berkley University far more intellectual and yet able to put reason into the most elemental and basic terminology. William F. Buckly Jr. (a devout Catholic) and Archbishop Fulton Sheen also top my list of "go-to thinkers". There is no other religion on earth TODAY other than ISLAM that has a doctrine of terrorism-None-the threat is from Islam alone.

Kfarley, can I firstly say that I do appreciate the many videos that you have uploaded on the Catholic faith but do not appreciate your uploads of "The Savage Nation" show on what is clearly a Catholic website, "the more catholic the better". If I decide to tune into an American talk show, it will be Rush Limbaugh before Michael Savage followed by Alex Jones. I’d choose a Rolls Royce over a Bentley rather than a Austin. Only a few days ago on this website, I viewed the shameful treatment of a Roman Catholic priest on the “Hannity & Colmes” show. Hopefully, the eyes of American Catholics were opened to the reality of this shallow show now thankfully discontinued. I rarely watch UK terrestrial television unless my attention is drawn to the content of a specific programme, and have little regard for the BBC since its uncritical reporting of the run up to the military action taken in Iraq (2003) and its lamentable decision not to broadcast the DEC Gaza Crisis Appeal (2009). Sadly, the long running “Panorama” current affairs programme has lost its wide ranging vision over the passing years. If I do choose to watch a UK current affairs programme, I will select a programme such as “Despatches” or “Unreported World” which feature journalists ranging from the left and right of the political spectrum. I watched the "Panorama" video and was disappointed in that I saw nothing new. The core material that this programme focused on was material dating back to 2006 - namely the use of Saudi school curriculum material in the UK. In 2007, the BBC news’s programme “Newsnight” covered this subject and the recent “Panorama” programme was simply a rehashing of old material. The covert visit to the King Fahad Academy’s campus building was the climax, or dare I say, anticlimax of this prosaic programme (to view campus building: select Google Maps, input "W5 4EJ" postal code into "search maps" box, drag and drop “orange man” on red locator, rotate navigation wheel as required, click on yellow tracking band for final viewing placement). As for Saudi corporal punishment, the programme spared the viewer some of the more gruesome methods that the Saudis mete out to their convicted criminals, such as beheading followed by crucifixion The most recent beheading and crucifixion that I am aware of was for the 22-year old, Muhammed Basheer al-Ramaly, in November 2009 (convicted for the rape of five young children). Why does the United States and the United Kingdom have such a cosy relationship with Saudi Arabia? Two words - black gold. The lucrative arms deals of Lockheed Martin (US) and British Aerospace (UK) will certainly continue despite Saudi Arabia’s appalling human rights record. As for your comments on the “Panorama” programme, let’s start with the numbers of Muslims and Christians in the world. There are approximately 1.7 billion Muslims and approximately 2.1 billion Christians currently living amongst the world’s population. The 1.7 billion Muslims are men, women and children made in the image of God. They are no more unified by creed or culture than are the Christians that visit this Catholic website. Farley, you paint with a broad brush the disparate world of Islam. Much of the restrictive behaviour you allude to occurs in Saudi Arabia - America’s best ally in the Middle East after Israel and Egypt. Your sweeping statements that, in Muslim countries that allow Christians churches, “crosses and all Christian holy symbols can never be publicly displayed; no crosses can be displayed on the outside of churches; and must be viewed within the privacy of the church interior” is factually incorrect when speaking about Muslim majority countries - prime exceptions being Saudi Arabia & Afghanistan. You go on to state that “Christians are persecuted in Muslim countries” which is true, but fail to say that Christians face persecution by other faiths, namely Jews (Israel), Hindus (India) and Buddhists (Sri Lanka). Extremists can be found in all major faiths of the world. You further state that "toleration is non-existent to the Islamic mindset" and yet recently in Indonesia - the most populous Muslim nation in the world - the major leaders of the Muslim community signed a joint statement that pledges protection to the minority Christian community and resistance to the infiltration of al-Qaeda into their Muslim community. It is also true that non-Muslims are not allowed to visit the holiest site of Islam in Saudi Arabia, but I for one, will not be losing any sleep over being barred from visiting Mecca.

There is no "getting along" with a fanatical terrorist that views the "infidel's"-(anyone who is not muslim or even a muslim of a different sect!) olive branch as a mark of weakness. The cry of Jihad is "convert or kill"-there is absolutely no mercy shown to Christians, Jews or any non-muslim peoples-toleration is non-existent to the Islamic mindset. Non-muslims are not even allowed to visit muslim "holy sites" and Christians are persecuted in muslim countries. In muslim countries that allow Christian churches, crosses and all Christian Holy symbols can never be publicly displayed and must be viewed within the privacy of the church interior-no crosses can be displayed on the outsides of churches. Within the United States muslims realize political correctness is on their side so they cry out for tolerance. These same muslims do not tolerate non-muslims in their lands.

In my room, most definitely, but they wont have me force my Christianity upon them. Therefore, why is it that the Christian "Dowery of Our Lady" is forced to have this nonsense in Her 'home'????
