Catholic Minister Killed: He Spoke the Truth
Pakistan
Yesterday Islamic criminals shot and killed Pakistan’s Christian minister for minority affairs Shabbaz Bhatti. He was the sole Christian member of the federal Cabinet. Bhatti had urged reform of the country’s blasphemy laws, which make insulting Islam a capital crime. He was on his way to work in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, when gunmen opened fire on his car. Bishop Rufin Anthony of Islamabad-Rawalpindi said, that Bhatti leaves a legacy of fearless dedication to justice and rule of law. “He was very brave,” said the bishop: “He spoke the truth and was conscious that therefore something might happen at any time to him.” At the scene of the killing pamphlets from the Pakistani Taliban were found. They warned anyone opposing the blasphemy laws of the same fate.

The Pope's prayer is the direct result of the obvious lack of " religious freedom of all" as seen in the nearly daily attacks, maiming, and murder of Christains perpetrated primarily by Islamic 'infidelophobes.'

May those Catholics proponents of supposed God's revelations in other religions, misled by the spirit of Assisi and the idea that all religions are equal, laying groundwork for one world religion consider the fact that there is only One Truth as revealed in The Living Word of The One True God,who having given us the free will does not force us to believe in Him,but had promised us,if we believe in Him and hold on to His Word,we will be no longer slaves under the law,but His friends and if His friends, than also heirs in His Father's Kingdom. And to protect the rights of those beliving in this Truth our fellow christian was willing to give up his life as Christ gave up His Life so The Truth might be known .For Christ was killed for Who He said He was: The Son of God and Pontius Pilate posed the question: " What is the truth?" ." I AM The TRUTH, The Way and The Life ". " I AM The Light of The World".

The first three news stories relate directly to the scourge of Islam, its assault on Western values and on Christians living in Muslim countries. Regrettably, Mohammedanism has been deemed by the Left as one of their politically correct protectorates which adds to the confusion and the reluctance to take decisive actions against Islamofacists. The thinking from the Left goes something like this: “All Muslims are poor and oppressed, therefore any criticism of a Muslim is hysteria and racism.” In fact, it is stories like the murder of this Christian and many more in Islamic countries that demonstrates infideliphobia from totalitarian deceivers. There is nothing “poor and oppressed” about it.

Pope Benedict reflects at length on the guilt of Judas, and on the Jewish people who shouted, before the Crucifixion, "His blood be on us and on our children!" He shows that these individuals represent all of humanity.

If these individuals who called for the murder of Christ represent all of humanity, they do so figuratively. Christ died for the sake of all men but not because of the actions of all men. It was the Jews of His time who called for His crucifixion and the gospels are clear no matter how or by whom the message is whitewashed.

The analogy has always troubled me. Personally I wish Catholic theologians would focus on Christians and Christianity rather than their repeated efforts to appease and exonerate the Jews. I am not addressing whether or not Jews or anyone else can or cannot be saved. That's a different question entirely.

However, the sins of the father are not passed on to his offspring. Each person is responsible for his or her own actions and own actions and salvation. To suggest otherwse is dissembling. Just because the father is an alcoholic does not mean his offspring are going to be alcoholics, for example, though it is a common misconception. Each of us is responsible for our own actions.

(Deuteronomy 24:16) - "Fathers shall not be put to death for their sons, nor shall sons be put to death for their fathers; everyone shall be put to death for his own sin."
(Ezekiel 18:20) - "The person who sins will die. The son will not bear the punishment for the father’s iniquity, nor will the father bear the punishment for the son’s iniquity; the righteousness of the righteous will be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked will be upon himself."
-------------------------------------------------------------

Matt 27.1 - "all the chief priests and the elders of the people came to the decision to put Jesus to death". (Matthew)

Acts 10.39 - "We are witnesses of everything he did in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They killed him by hanging him on a tree (Peter)

I Thess 2.14 - You suffered from your own countrymen the same things those churches suffered from the Jews, 15 who killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets and also drove us out. (Paul)

Act 13.27 - The people of Jerusalem and their rulers did not recognize Jesus, yet in condemning him they fulfilled the words of the prophets that are read every Sabbath. 28 Though they found no proper ground for a death sentence, they asked Pilate to have him executed. (Paul) Notice 'people' is restricted to those in Jerusalem who asked for the execution--the 'crowd' again.

Mt 26.3 - Then the chief priests and the elders of the people assembled in the palace of the high priest, whose name was Caiaphas, 4 and they plotted to arrest Jesus in some sly way and kill him. (Matthew)

Mt 27.1,20 - But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowd to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus executed. (Matthew)

Acts 5.27 - Having brought the apostles, they made them appear before the Sanhedrin to be questioned by the high priest. 28 "We gave you strict orders not to teach in this name," he said. "Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to make us guilty of this man's blood." 29 Peter and the other apostles replied: "We must obey God rather than men! 30 The God of our fathers raised Jesus from the dead -- whom you had killed by hanging him on a tree. (Peter, accusing the Sanhedrin--a mixed priestly and lay aristocratic ruling body)

Conclusion: the leadership--both civil and religious-- of Jerusalem
