During the Biblical times of the prophets and even today, True faithful followers of the word, care too little for the world and its opinions, specially their petty and foolish bickering and backbiting and backlashing.
Indeed the politics of babylon and olden times prevails in todays society who loves to debate. And debate that is and even enacting decrees in which little or nothing is achieved to help the plight of the destitute specially of the oppressed and the mediocre of society

They can mock or laugh all they want. But in the end "the truth and integrity of the sacred writings" will prevail. "Indeed it is the living word, and indeed it is life and healing who live and dwell in it". Woe to those who ignore it, thus indeed in the end there would great whaling-sorrows and gnashing of teeth.

Many so called learned men or person of authority speak or looks even appears to know purportodely more that he knows and thinks but rather rarely has delve intrinsictly on the matter. As for a man of science, it is very unscientific of not gathering all the facts and too harshly making conclusion thus instead of making the patient recover from health makes him more worser in condition.
