May I point out something "elementary" about the comment made by the Chair of DNC - "Children in the womb are not persons."
As you may recall from elementary school, this is known as a compound sentence because it states more than one thing. Indeed, this sentence states two facts. First, Children are in the womb, and secondly, they are not persons!
