Vatican spiritual exercises underway March 1st.
“The priest encounters Jesus and follows him”: this is the theme that will guide the spiritual exercises at the Vatican, in which Pope Benedict XVI will himself participate.
A period of spiritual meditations and intense prayer will be guided by Cardinal Francis Arinze, prefect emeritus of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments. The exercises begin March 1st in the “Redemptoris Mater” Chapel of the Apostolic Palace with the celebration of Vespers, the introductory meditation, and Adoration and Benediction of the Eucharist. The retreat ends Saturday, March 7th with the final sermon and blessing.
All pontifical audiences are suspended during these days.

" Kingdom of God is within you" " The times are coming,truly they are here now,that everyone who worships Me ,will worship Me in the Spirit and in Truth." - we are the Temples of the Holy Spirit,our souls iluminated by the light of the Holy Spirit are the shining cities,His Bride - theBody of Believers, is the promised Jerusalem;the Holy Trinity dwelling in a heart of believing Christian is the Church the gates of hell shall not prevail against. It is by dwelling in our souls,working in us and through us that Christ keeps His promise of not leaving us orphans and the Light of the Holy Spirit shining in us will be the only light shining in the Darkness and yet not overcome by it.
