Chinese Anti-Pornography Campaign.

This is a photograph of an advertisement billboard in Beijing's Xinjiekou subway station. While existing in large amounts in China, pornography is illegal under the mainland's laws, cannot be legally purchased in stores (stores still sell it however) and all internet pornography sites are blocked in China through the same extensive firewall system that also blocks websites deemed politically sensitive.

The writing on the left says:
'love reading books, love reading the newspaper, love music,
love movies, love surfing the web .......
love a healthy culture

Join in the "fight against vice"
Clean the culture and environment'

the top right is the name of the government bureau, which has already been translated into English as "The National Office of Eliminating Pornography and Illegal Publications Working Committee"

the bottom right has a cellphone number on top and a landline underneath, as well as their web address.

All Glory to God
