50 years already! Bp. Baker hopefully will offer a traditional Latin Mass, as Mother Angelica would have most likely preferred. Remember when Bp. Foley went out there to consecrate the new Monastery and Mother refused to go up and say a few words because she was truly upset with the bishop because he had refused mass to be said ad orientem. Bp Baker has spoken out publicly about the evil of homosexuality, which is good...we shall see.
Will be watching, but I wonder if Bp. Baker will be "ad orientem" as is the custom there, or since the Mass will be televised will he be turned the other way, due to the edict of his predecessor?
