Fr Lucie-Smith made a great point - but his pullover is is not much to write home about.

The problem about the vocation of lay people is not found on the II Vatican Council but to the misinterpretation of it thats why Pope Benedict XVI said we have to interpret it in line with the apostolic tradition.

I'm always amused and somewhat shocked when I hear such language on gloria tv!
