Remember not too long ago when the Catholic Vice President of the United States said this about China's one child policy? "Your policy has been one which I fully understand -- I'm not second-guessing -- of one child per family..."
This is the reality of the policy which Joe Biden fully understands and would never second guess.
Missionary news agency AsiaNews reported that the woman was beaten and dragged into a vehicle by a group of Family planning employees, while her husband, Deng Jiyuan was at work.
Population control had asked the family to pay 40 thousand Yuan (approximately 4 thousand Euro, the equivalent of three years’ work) for violating the one-child law. But they did not make the payment, so the authorities forced Jianmei to abort in her seventh month of pregnancy.

There is something misleading in the analysis of this. It is illegal in China for the officials to do that. Forced abortion is not a policy or law of the government, but a practice by local officials in many places who are acting outside the law and consequently is not the enforcement of the one child policy.

Forced abortion is not a policy or law of the government, but a practice by local officials in many places who are acting outside the law and consequently is not the enforcement of the one child policy.
This is why Chen Guangcheng, the blind activist who was in the news, was campaigning against forced abortions in Shandong - it was because under the law these things are totally illegal and he was using legal procedures in order to fight against it.
I'm not saying this to defend the one child policy, because it is evil in the sense that it does use abortions to accomplish it, but I want to clarify a fundamental misunderstanding that a lot of people in the west who read these kinds of articles might get.
The officials in charge were suspended after this story hit the press. If it didn't hit the press, maybe nothing would have happened. Unfortunately in practice there is too little rule of law in China.

Joe Biden is a complete nitwit! Anyone who chooses him for his second in command is an idiot as well. I pray the American people see this reality come November.
