The movie allows deeper insight into the dangers that were faced between the religious leaders in preaching the gospel in the Communist-Socialist state that was Yugoslavia in the 1980's. Martin Sheen captures the spirit of Fr. Jozo Zovko, Michael York is terrific as the lawyer defending Fr. Jozo.
