So much work and study went into this. A truly sincere effort. BUT, I don't think the Lord would let me down by having me love the Mass even as it is now, even with the disrespect I see around and about me, if it were not truly Calvary being present to me. The Mass is the Source and Summit of our Faith - it is with sorrow I see that some people don't realize this and treat our Churches as though they were Bingo Halls. My responsibility is to adore and worship, to praise and thank Him to the best of my ability. We can't all become experts on the history of the Church, but we can all try to grow in our love for Jesus - truly present in the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar. - Blessings - Rene

I must disagree I know of two Bishops who opposed every propostion in Vatiacn II. One was Bishop Hannan of the dioces of scranton who died shortly after the council ended and ArchBishop Lefevber. Bishop Hannan was said died of a broken heart. And The ArchBishop broke form the Church and began the FSSPX.
