On Pentecost Sunday, St. Patrick Church in Portland, Maine celebrated its final Mass .The Portland Diocese sold the property to a company that owns an adjacent shopping center. According to the diocese, the buyer has plans to demolish the 39-year-old church. The sale is necessary to ensure that the other two churches and school in the parish remain open. Sources say the parish is running an annual deficit of $85,000 and that membership in the church is falling.

I don't have the technical answer for opening videos other than to say what has worked for me. The browser seems to make a difference. Firefox gives me the most trouble at Gloria although I have used this browser successfully before the format changed. Now, either Internet Explorer or Chrome do a better job at allowing me to view …More

I don't have the technical answer for opening videos other than to say what has worked for me. The browser seems to make a difference. Firefox gives me the most trouble at Gloria although I have used this browser successfully before the format changed. Now, either Internet Explorer or Chrome do a better job at allowing me to view videos.
Sometimes, even when using Firefox, I am able to reload a given video several times and it may load and I am able to see it. Chrome works the best in my case but it may be different for those in different areas.
This may be one of the unforeseen problems that occurred with the change in format and hopefully it will be corrected soon.
For example, I am unable to open this news video (21st of May 2013) when using Firefox as the browser. After switching to Chrome, this video opens without a problem.

Well I am kind of glad that Cardinal Dolan gave the speech for Notre Dame, which was when he sounded very much against Obama speaking there, but with all his Turkey Talk I don't know how much any he says has any real meaning... I'll keep praying for him. And we should all pray for the Pope, who wants to give the Neocatechuminal way a private audiance?!
