Dear Friends, I came up with the idea of making this video to share with you the joy I felt when I learned of the will of Pope Francis to have the process of beatification of Archbishop Romero completed as soon as possible.
Mgr. Oscar Arnulfo Romero Archbishop of San Salvador was martyred in 1980 while He was celebrating the holy Mass.
Let me tell you, my dear friends, that I had the grace to visit San Salvador just one month before I joined the Society of the Queen of the Lilies, that is in June 2010. I visited the Church of the Hospital run out by the Sisters of Divine Providence where He was killed on March 24, 1980
I got, also, the opportunity to meet one of the nieces of Mons. Romero, Guadalupe Romero, who told me some anectodes regarding his uncle, letting me understand how good was Archbishop Romero.
Dear Friends let's pray God in order to get the wonderful gift of having Mons. Romero venerated as a saint of the Catholic Church. Really Mons. Romero is an example for everybody in the Church especially for bishops and priests. Following the example of our Lord Jesus Christ, He was really a good Shepherd who gave his life for the people.
