On Friday, at an audience with Italian students, teachers and staff of Jesuit schools Pope Francis decided to put his five-page written message aside. He said: “I prepared a text, but it’s five pages and a little boring.” Francis gave a short summary of his message and then took questions from the students. When asked why joined the Jesuits, he said he wanted to be a missionary and he was attracted by the religious order’s missionary zeal and activity. In response to a question about the role of Catholics in politics, the Pope said: “We, Christians, cannot ‘play Pilot’ [sic!].”

Last week. a petition called for Georgetown University to either comply with canon law or be stripped of its right to call itself a “Catholic” institution. Now, Rachel Pugh, Georgetown director of communications told the student newspaper – quote: "Our Catholic and Jesuit identity on campus has never been stronger." Gloria.tv finds Ms. Pugh's comment puzzling since in the recent past this ostensibly “Catholic” university removed the crucifixes from its classrooms and has invited pro-abortion activists to speak to students and it has a pro-abortion student group which offers on-line instruction on how and where to obtain condoms, birth control pills, the morning-pill after and abortions. In addition, Georgetown offers health care benefits to homosexuals

Western countries will crumble within fifty years at the most if they don't condemn same-sex unions – according to Orthodox Archpriest Vsevolod Chaplin. Chaplin is the head of the Synodal Department for Church and Society Relations. According to Interfax, he said: “Calling a black thing white doesn't work, and that means Russia has an excellent chance of telling the whole world that same-sex "marriages" and attempts to legalize incest and pedophilia are death and suicide."

According to the news agency Mena, the resumption of diplomatic relations with the Vatican depend on quote “positive and serious moves that must be achieved in order to clearly show respect for Islam and for Moslems.” This is a quote from Al Azhar, the most prominent Sunni Institution in Cairo. Al Azhar also stated that they are waiting for an answer to their congratulatory message on the election of pope Francis. The diplomatic discussions were interrupted in January 2011 after statements made by Benedict XVI.

Because Vsevolod Chaplin knows more about Russia than we do, (the Catholic Church) we should listen to a native and REMEMBER what Our Lady asked at Fatima....she asked for the Consecration of Russia...by the Pope and all the bishops of the world.... THIS HAS NEVER BEEN DONE!!!!!! Even John Paul II said he never did it. Where is the Pope who can save the world and not listen to "satan's call"..... …More
Because Vsevolod Chaplin knows more about Russia than we do, (the Catholic Church) we should listen to a native and REMEMBER what Our Lady asked at Fatima....she asked for the Consecration of Russia...by the Pope and all the bishops of the world.... THIS HAS NEVER BEEN DONE!!!!!! Even John Paul II said he never did it. Where is the Pope who can save the world and not listen to "satan's call"..... the ONLY salvation of our world is this Consecration. SO SIMPLE!!! I would hate to be the Pope who would face The Son of God after refusing to obey Our Lady, HIS Mother, in her Plea for peace.
