In the Month of October, the People of the Queen of the Lilies meditate about the virtue of silence. Mother Lillian of Paradise help us to understand that our post-modern society is in dire need the silence… She writes:
"Too much clamour, too much noise, too many voices in the world, this supersonic world has become the great square of knowledge of mechanics, of consumerism. The man raises skyscrapers, monumental works of art, writes rivers of ink, discovers monstrous and deadly inventions to show off, to exalt his wit, his pride, forgetting that everything will fall into nothingness.
