In this little farm house Saint Maria Goretti was born on the 16th October 1890 and here She had lived for 6 years until when She left it. With Her family, She moved to the Latium region where She died in Nettuno (Rome) on 6 July 1902. She was declared Saint by Pope Pio XII on 24th June 1950 . She is invoked and prayed as the Saint of young people, of Purity and Chastity. She is known all over the Catholic world.
Everybody can visit this house in Contrada “Pregiagna” at Corinaldo (Ancona), Italy. Admission is free and It is open all day long.
