Border Fence: On Tuesday, Boston Cardinal Sean ÒMalley celebrated Mass together with eight U.S. bishops in Nogales, Arizona, along the U.S.-Mexico border to raise awareness about immigration and to pray for policy changes. Several hundred people attended the ceremony. A few dozen people peered through the border fence from Mexico to participate in the Mass. Priests offered Holy Communion through the fence to them.

Vatican Jail: The Italian businessman Marcello Di Finizio has spent a night in a Vatican jail after having climbed for the fourth time in the last years on the cupola of the Saint Peter’s in order to protest against Italian economical bureaucracy. Di Finizio owns a restaurant in Trieste, Northern Italy. Yesterday he was ordered to make himself available for a trial in the Vatican Court.

A group of Ukraine's special operations force Alfa including ten officers armed with automatic weapons came to the apartment of Odessa Russian-orthodox priest Oleg Mokryak in order to detain him, but he was not at home, a representative of the Moscow Patriarchate Department for External Church Relations told Interfax-Religion. Mokryak has been accused of contacts with participants in Odessa demonstrations that criticized the policies pursued by the new Kiev authorities.
