News Coverage of Brutal Attacks on Arizona Priests & the 911 Call.
The details of this crime are yet unknown. Much is speculation. We do NOT know how the suspect got into the rectory. Did Fr. Terra answer the door or was he surprised by the suspect? It seems certain that Fr. Walker got shot because he came in after Fr. Terra, as the suspect could not have dealt with both priests at once unless he was not alone. Fr. Walker might have laid down his life for his brother priest if he had stopped Fr. Terra from being bludgeoned to death. In the 911 call Fr. Terra says that his associate priest had been beaten, it is uncertain if this is true. Did Fr. Terra regain consciousness and assumed when he saw his brother priest unconscious on the ground that he had endured the same as himself or was Fr. Walker in fact also beaten perhaps even after being shot. Some reports say the police have the metal pipe that was used to beat the priests as well as some DNA evidence.

So sad that we have lost another soldier for Christ. I get the feeling Satan is frustrated by our traditional priests: SSPX; FSSP; CRNJ, and independents bringing young people back to their faith. Fr. Walker was martyred for his faith even though we may never know the motive. Requiescat in pace.
