Am süd-östlichen Ortsrand von Traunstein sieht man oben am Berg das Sparzer Kircherl. Ganzjährig zugesperrt.

Oben in Sparz gab es mal ein Kloster der Schwestern der Congregatio Jesu. Eine Schwester sperrte das Sparzer Kircherl auf und abends wieder zu. Hl. Messe gab es auch damals nur am Patrozinium, dem Fest des Hl. Josef. Die letzten drei Schwestern sind aus Altersgründen zurück ins Mutterhaus gegangen. Die Räumlichkeiten des Klosters wurden in die dortige Schule integriert.
