It was Pope Paul VI that told us about the smoke of satan! Satan is everywhere because he is the god of this world! We have had major problems of enemy infiltration into the RCC to try to destroy it from within. We have Catholic Prophecy and warnings from Our Lady's apparitions such as LaSalette that Rome will lose the faith and become the seat of the antichrist!

The Pope is not infallible in everything he says or does. One of the best books is from Fr. Paul Kramer, "The Suicide of Altering the Faith in the Liturgy."

I certainly agree with the Cardinal on abortion but there is much more to what happened after Vatican II/Novus Ordo:
