This opens the door for a greater push for homeschooling. Some Pastors may have felt threatened by homeschooling if trying to save a parochial school. Homeschooling by serious Catholic parents can do a much better job than secularized "Catholic" schools and teaching the Faith and secular lessons to their children.

Personally, I love the Tridentine Mass and am scandalized by much of the Liturgical abuse and heresy over the last 5 decades, but I haven't left the Church regardless. The SSPXs I speak to almost always say they haven't left and aren't in schism. So why is a document STILL necessary to bring them back in "union." Good people need to stay and fight for what is worthy and not abandon Holy Mother Church in Her greatest time of need.

My Opinion and thoughts:Are the Homosexual groups, the anti catholic groups and any other group who will be at WYD endorsed by the Bishop's Conference?

I can be quite safe saying that Mr. Voris did not pledge obedience to the National Conference of Catholic Bishops.

I wonder how much MONEY the hosting church at Madrid will make on this function. Is Mr Voris cutting into their profit? NOW THIS may be a good reason for concern..

What a JOKE! I echo what the other posters say and add the the WE, the LAYITY, will save the CHURCH, not the bishops.The Bishops need to grow a pair and address the real problems in the church.
We need Real Masculine Leadership in the Church. I wonder how many bishops would be told "Get Behind Me, Satan." by Christ today?
