Taize movement is not Catholic in any meaningful sense of the word. It is difficult to see how participating in a movement that eschews confessional ties and seeks no formal union with the Church of Rome does not violate the prescription of Canon 209 that Catholics maintain communion with the Church "even in their own manner of acting." Even if participating in Taize activities does not break communion, it is hard to see how it promotes it.
This literally makes me sick...What have the bishops and cardinals been doing about the persecuted Christians in all the Arab countries? What? About as much as the Barack Hussein has done..Nothing! ACT OF CONSECRATION OF THE HUMAN RACE TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS
"Be Thou King of all those who are still involved in the darkness of idolatry or of Islamism, and refuse not to draw them all into the light and kingdom of God."
Of course modernists have removed "Islamism" from this traditional … [More]
When people see this modern ugliness in their Churches, do they not wonder too about the modern mass? Do they not contemplate these modern changes and see what they truly are and where they come from? We must ask ourselves that and we must educate one another about these abuses. And the abuses taking place in the modern mass...This is why we can be sure of giving all glory and honor to our Lord assisting at the traditional Latin Mass, where there is no room for abuse. But only beauty and … [More]
Taize movement is NOT Catholic! ....Can. 210. All the Christian faithful must direct their efforts to lead a holy life and to promote the growth of the Church and its continual sanctification according to their own condition......The Christian faithful are not directed to work for the buildup of some concept "Christendom" or "Christianity" in general; they are called to "promote the growth of the Church" in particular.
What is this? Another "ecumenical community"? The Taize movement is Not Catholic in any meaningful sense of the word. Nor are these Taize appropriate in parishes. It is Not formally in union with the Church and the Popes have had no intention in obtaining so.
"Do you desire that all people become Catholic, Yes or No?"
Good question to ask... there's a priest here that works as a chaplain at a local hospital. I asked him when he visits the sick does he talk to them about the faith? He said, "No, I would never do that!" and then he chuckled about it.
Excellent article. I knew one priest who was considered to become a bishop along with Gumbleton at the same time. This priest was loved by his people, genuinely cared for their souls and would have given anyone the shirt off his back if needed. But, nope..Gumbleton got the position. What a loss.
Look how the perverts always turn blame onto the church, always wining that the church should 'change their laws." Go seek another church if you don't like it...who the hell you think you are? Sodomites!
Fr Paul is correct, "the washing of the feet is meant to be an imitation of the Last Supper and 'intrinsically attached' to the institution of the priesthood." The pope, through his actions, gave permission for all clergy to do the same. This is truly sad.
Certainly, as Catholics, we would hope that this pope openly and loudly condemn the brutal treatment of Christians by Muslim countries, and ask for the world"s prayers and the countries assistance to end this scourge!
Thanks for posting this...the pope's actions have broken with Church tradition, and now sets the tone for more disobedience within the Church. Hopefully in time, Francis will come to realize tradition has a very important place, just like papal traditions and that so many of them should not be tossed out and in such a short time. We shall see in the next few months...
Yes definitely, this photo was around the time he had opened up missionaries and schools in Africa. Many say he will (if not already) become a saint. His priestly ordo continues to grow along with churches, chapels and schools. Do pray for us Archbishop Lefebvre!
Many people who attend the Latin Mass, may also attend elsewhere, where there is a Latin Mass, being that the dioceses' only has them either far from the populated areas or in areas you wouldn't care to drive through. The Latin Mass attendees I have met, Do go to confession often. And I prefer to go to a traditional, god-fearing priest anyway, unlike many of the novus ordo priests. One novus ordo priest during confession had his cell phone go off. Another one I had to listen to him praise … [More]
Today all you see are brides that are naked on top before Christ..in His own home. They want to look sexy I guess rather than dressing modestly. ...In this case they obviously are not Catholic, but what I have seen with the Catholic Church are weddings that take more importance of looking like some 'fashion show' than considering the truly important Sacramental vows that they are going to take before God and man. Many women have no clue that you don't stand in front of a priest and before our … [More]
"Rev." Michael McCandless leads another novus ordo abuse within the Cleveland Diocese. Believe it or not, he heads the Vocations at the Gay-Friendly Borromeo seminary there. I have known several seminarians who entered there and left. McCandless is known for working 'close' with the gay and lesbian workshops. He also is connected with the Jesuit gay-run Retreat House in Cleveland.
Jan. 22nd, 2013..Elyria, Oh.. More abuse from the Diocese of Cleveland. 'Fr.' Mike McCandless is Vocation Director at Borromeo Seminary in Cleveland, known for having and putting out homo 'priests'. McCandless also works close with gays and lesbians … [More]
The modernists accept the novus ordo just like they accept homo clergy and lesbian nuns. How many times have we seen bishops and Cardinal Burke state that catholics should receive Communion ON THE TONGUE AND WHILE KNEELING. But the novus ordo guitar, banjo bangin modernists could care less that Our Lord is always falling onto the ground, due to the negligent priests and laity...that nut jobs are taking consecrated hosts out of the church to desecrate it even more...etc,..etc
Everyone should read, "Goodbye Good Men" by Michael Rose, if they haven't......Some of the priests who spoke to Mr. Rose of the corruption did so only if they were not identified by name, fearing retaliation by the homosexuals and feminists in authority even today. Some agreed to be identified. Others who never gained acceptance into a seminary, or who gave up their vocation with their faith nearly destroyed by the corruption within the seminary, still felt shame over their 'failure', and many … [More]
Whether the percentages of masses were even between the Latin and novus ordo...the novus ordo would still be the 'mass' of so many abuses. As a past daily novus ordo attendee, it is quite the obvious. What can you expect when half the clergy are homos and heretics. I am not SSPX, so don't throw your prejudices out there. State the facts..Again, as was already stated even Cardinal Arinze says, "one needs to Question the Validity of some novus ordo masses." For those who cannot see and or desire … [More]
