NEW YORK (WABC) -- A federal judge in Utica sided Tuesday with 17 health care workers who object to New York State's vaccine mandate for health workers on religious grounds, granting their request for an injunction that stops the state from enforcing the policy for those who claim a religion-based objection.
"There is no adequate explanation from defendants about why the 'reasonable accommodation' that must be extended to a medically exempt health care worker under 2.61 could not similarly be extended to a healthcare worker with a sincere religious objection," Judge David Hurd wrote.
Hurd's preliminary injunction means New York will continue to be barred from enforcing any requirement that employers deny religious exemptions.

And yet, when I am constrained regularly to go to daily Mass at the Novus Ordo parish because the TLM is too far away, I witness abuses every single time...
* a teenager playing with the Host after receiving Holy Communion...!
* a Consecrated Host swept up in a pile of garbage by the janitor...!
* and when I picked up that Host in a cloth with fear and trembling (I didn't dare leave Our Lord there) to bring it to the Pastor in the Rectory, he gruffly took it from me, grunted and folded it into a piece of paper on his desk. I stood there dumbfounded, not wanting to leave Our Lord on that Priest's desk!
* Priests interrupting Masses to make extemporaneous, even joking remarks
* streams of people going up to receive Communion in the hand and popping our dear Lord into their mouths like a potato chip as they walk along back to their pew …More

They further discuss whether the Motu Proprio is binding and whether the Pope has the authority to suppress the Traditional Mass of the Ages and to declare the Mass of Paul VI as the sole expression of the Latin Rite.
Also addressed by Cardinal Muller is the Pope's failure to address other, more urgent and serious problems of doctrine and morality in the Catholic Church.
