The Vatican's reported decision to team up with the Discovery Channel for a new exorcism reality show (The Exorcism Files) has been categorically denied by the Vatican. Allowing the anti-Christs in Hollywood unprecedented access to sensitive Vatican documents for a made for TV drama series? I don't think so.
Still, I'll watch the program if/when it airs. Why? I am interested in how the writers and directors have handled the subject. Obviously the truth will be sacrificed for ratings and so one can expect plenty of bizarre visual effects, horrendous blood curdling sound effects and a little violence thrown in just for the heck of it. The devil is like that you know.
Yes, it's silly but I'll watch one episode of this program and decide then if the series is worth any more time.
No talk of exorcism would be complete without including a brief clip of the Mother of all Exorcism Movies.
