Prayer: Last Thursday an interview which Pope Francis gave on March 31 to three Belgian youngsters was broadcast in Belgium. Among other things Francis was asked how he prays. The answer: “I let myself be watched by Him. And I feel - but this is no sentimentalism - I feel deeply the things the Lord tells me. Sometimes he does not talk ... nothing, empty, empty, empty ... but I remain there patiently, so I pray. ... I pray sitting, because kneeling hurts me. Sometimes I fall asleep during prayer.”
A Baptism to Propagate Homosexualism: Argentina's President, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, has become godmother to a child associated with two lesbian women which was baptised in a Catholic church in Cordoba. The two women used the event to propagate homosexualism. They selected Kirchner as godmother to thank her for supporting gay rights. For them the baby’s baptism was a sign of – quote - "social change" in the Catholic Church.
I Am the Bishop of Rome: Former Cardinal Vicar of Rome Camillo Ruini has told Vatican Radio an anecdote about Pope John Paul II that happened in January 2005, few months before his death. His private secretary Stanislaw Dziwisz informed John Paul II that Ruini had taken over the visits to Roman parishes because of the dwindling forces of the Pope. To which John Paul II answered: “But I am the bishop of Rome.”
Ultraliberal: Pope Francis has called the ultraliberal Austrian born bishop Erwin Kräutler to assist him in writing an encyclical about poverty and creation according to Vaticaninsider. Kräutler is bishop of Altamira-Xingu, Brazil. He is known for his political activism in Amazonia.
