Louis Martin house, Lisieux, unveiling of plaque ceremony.
This is a video offered by the current owners of the house, Jacques and Anne-Marie Hervieu of the unveiling of the plaque commemorating the house Bl Louis Martin lived in at the end of his life. Louis Martin is the father of St Therese.
The house is located at rue l'Abbey in Lisieux and faces the back gate of the townhouse formerly owned by Louis' brother-in-law Isidore Guerin.
The ceremony took place in July 2009 and the plaque is blessed by Mgr. Lagoutte, rector of the Lisieux Sanctuary.
At the end of the video is a brief view of the garden that Louis Martin knew. The garden goes down to the river, the Touques, which is not visible in the video.
