Br. Matthew was your typical American kid. His family fell out of the routine of going to Sunday mass when they moved houses and, after being confirmed, Br. Matthew decided to stop going to mass. A year later, through a seemingly meaningless comment about music, Br. Matthew's conversion began. The seed was planted. He started to fall in love with the faith and with the sacraments. But when the Lord started to call him to the priesthood, he ran in the opposite direction. The Lord led him on a pilgrimage to Italy where He spoke to Br. Matthew's heart.
