Fr Pagliarani Letter: “The Unjust Condemnation Is Immense Humiliation”
On 19 July, from Menzingen, Switzerland, Fr Davide Pagliarani, Superior General of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX), issued another pastoral letter published on LaPorteLatine.org justifying the illicit consecration of bishops against the will of Pope Leo XIV. I entrust all of you to the Blessed Virgin Mary, to whom the Society of Saint Pius X has been consecrated in a very special way. May she always protect you amid every storm and every difficulty, and may she keep alive that little flame burning in your souls whenever all the contrary winds rage against it.
You can point to problems elsewhere in the Church, with the popes, with the Germans, etc., but that does not make what the SSPX did right.
I disagree vehemently with the Superior General. The false, invalid condemnation is NOT a humiliation. No, not at all. For the FSSX Faithful it should be a badge of high and holy honor.
Perhaps he belongs to the same faction as Tucho? I suppose it's somehow masochistic.
