Pittsfield Cell Tower Concerned Citizens
Electromagnetic radiation (EMR) exposure from electrical power grids, cell towers and wireless devices is likely a driver of the global increase in diabetes, according to a new report by Paul Héroux, Ph.D. Studies compiled by Héroux show that very low levels of EMR can affect how cells function, including how they handle glucose. The report — which includes over 280 citations — is a deep dive into the evidence suggesting that EMR exposure from electrical power grids and wireless radiation can dysregulate and raise blood sugar levels.
“Current EMR safety standards are inadequate for protecting long-term metabolic health,” Héroux told The Defender.

Well, after having fasting glucose over twice the expected, my doctor recommended a pill. Instead I pared back snacking and ate modestly less at meals. Over the next six months, I lost 11% of my body weight and reached a smidge over the target. Which continues to this day. There may be some linkage with EMR, but it would only when compounded with poor diet and weight.
