During his Apostolic Journey to the Principality of Monaco, Europe’s last Catholic state, Pope Leo XIV urged some 15,000 faithful at Mass to “not grow accustomed to the clamor of weapons.” He warned that “every life cut short wounds the body of Christ,” and called on the Church to bear witness to a peace rooted not in power, but in fraternity.
