Kansas City: Invalid Eucharists for Years?

Two newly appointed Kansas City priests discovered in their three different parishes that they have used a "wine" that was an invalid matter for consecration for years, Archbishop Joseph Naumann wrote in a May 31 letter (PillarCatholic.com).

Therefore, the Eucharists were possibly invalid and the intentions not fulfilled. Naumann has asked Francis' Vatican for guidance - although Francis couldn't care less.

Naumann tells his priests that altar wine must be made from grapes, without additives, and be "vinified for sacramental use" (although the Vatican has said that the latter is not necessary).

It's unknown what the Eucharists have been celebrated with (grape juice?). Naumann simply states that many commercial wines contain additives like elderberry extract, sugar, alcohol, etc. which could invalidate the Eucharist.

This point is moot: "for all" is not used during consecration.

No, all Francis cares about are his beloved homosexual TRANS prostitutes who he sees every Wednesday at his General Audience, and positive words for homos. Francis couldn't care less about the Catholic Faith, least of all about the Mass, and the wine that is consecrated for it.
For all he cares, they could use pizza and beer for Holy Communion.......like they did at a Catholic University near me when I was in college.

I agree with what you say, but, cases of sacramental validity are within the purview of the dicastery formerly known as the CDF, and, at least for the moment, Cardinal Ladaria is in charge, and he actually cares.

Invalid matter equals no sacrament. No dicastery, Pope, bishop, prelate, synod, or council can redefine invalid matter as valid matter. All past councils and Popes are very clear on this. Valid matter is required to confect the sacrament.
