The prosecution suggests that Kyle Rittenhouse should have:
- Stayed with Joseph Rosenbaum, whom Kyle had just shot
(and been further attacked?)
- Called 911
(He was running to the police when further attacked)
- Told the crowd what he had just done
(you mean those people who captured it on camera?) - Fired warning shots (and had stray bullet, removed self defense as he had time to shoot stray bullet?) - Dropped his rifle (leave a weapon for anyone to pick up including children and his assailants?) - Surrendered himself to the crowd twitter.com/townhallcom/status/1460323814194171905 (I guess he can be a martyr ... if that were his desire)

I suspect it isn't simply ignorance but intentional deceit. Prosecutors aren't bound by any oath to tell the truth, either in court or outside of it.
