Contrary to Pope Francis’ misguided political correctness to be nice and groveling before the gays, Matthew 18:15-17 tells us that Jesus taught that a congregation is ultimately supposed to treat unrepentant sinners like pagans and tax collectors. As the passage reads, the sinner must be “rebuked.” Instead, they are congratulated by high ranking Catholic prelates.
