Yesterday at the general audience, Pope Benedict XVI illustrated the figure of Ambrose Autpert, an 8th century monk who spoke of greed as "the sole root of all vices." The Holy Father inviting everyone to follow the teachings of Ambrose and recalled that only love is the key to reaching true knowledge of God. At the end of the audience, Benedict entrusted to the young people the cross of World Youth Day, which John Paul II gave to them 25 years ago, "so that many young people may discover the mercy of God and revive within their hearts hope in Christ crucified and risen."

Roman Cardinal Celebrates Old Mass

Juan Miguel Ferrer Grenesche, Vicar General of the Arcidiocese of Toledo (Spain). Mons. Ferrer is known as co-organiser and participant in training workshops for the Extraordinary Form in Toledo. The second new Consultor is Mons. Wilhelm Imkamp. He is known as the rector of the pilgrimage church of Maria Vesperbild in the diocese of Augsburg, Germany, where he strongly encourages the reform of the reform, including celebration of the Ordinary Form ad orientem and the regular celebration of the Extraordinary Form.
