Homosexual Jesuit Believes Church Needs “Homosex Saints”
They Exist.
Jim McDermott dresses like a layman but seems to be a Jesuit. On June 2 he wrote on America Magazine that – quote – “The Catholic Church needs Homosex saints.” Because of his poor Jesuit education, McDermott may not be aware that such saints exist, namely the Uganda Martyrs in the historical kingdom of Buganda. They were executed in 1885 on orders of King Mwanga II because they withstood his homosexual advances. In the article, McDermott calls himself a homosexual. He is an associate editor at America Magazine.
Wrong Wording. McDermott recalls that a couple years ago, he was at Los Angeles Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels looking at the tapestries of the saints lining the walls of the church. Quote, “It suddenly hit me that not a single one of these people has been identified as gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender, though undoubtedly some of them were.” McDermott doesn’t tell us why he knows this. He adds, “In fact …More

In the Second letter of Saint Peter 3:3 it says

These are unlearned and unstable men who pervert the Scriptures to their own perdition.

All the Saints believed in Sodom and Gomorrah... Did they have pretty serious messed up prejudices?

They also believed leeches would cure disease, the earth was flat and comets were signs of cosmic doom. But sure, let's focus on some ridiculous story about God destroying a town that was preposterously nothing but homosexual predators. That definitely sounds believable.

I know I’m way behind on this, but I’m just realizing there are people who think that the story of Sodom and Gomorrah really happened.

If Fr McDermott is dreaming of a Church which will accept them, he could try the church of satan. I'm quite sure its leader will be delighted to accept him and his 'friends'. This has become a tsunami of filth and it's in Christ's Church. I simply don't understand what goes on in their heads about God and Judgment and Hell. It wasn't just communism itself which infiltrated the Church. Those who …More

Apostasy: «The word itself in its etymological sense, signifies the desertion of a post, the giving up of a state of life; he who voluntarily embraces a definite state of life cannot leave it, therefore, without becoming an apostate.

Apostasy ab ordine
This, according to the present discipline of the Church, is the abandonment of the clerical dress and state by clerics who have received major orders.

Apostasy a fide, or perfidiæ:
Perfidiæ is the complete and voluntary abandonment of the Christian religion, whether the apostate embraces another religion such as Paganism, Judaism, Mohammedanism, etc., or merely makes profession of Naturalism, Rationalism, etc. The heretic differs from the apostate in that he only denies one or more of the doctrines of revealed religion, whereas the apostate denies the religion itself, a sin which has always been looked upon as one of the most grievous.

«Today is the Feast of the Ugandan Martyrs, to whom I have great devotion. When I worked with refugees in East Africa in the 1990s, I prayed to them often and visited their shrine in Namugongo, near Kampala, twice. The refugees from Uganda mentioned them frequently and......the martyrs' names were often used by churches in East Africa, especially Kizito, the youngest, a name often taken by youth groups. (I wrote about them in my book "My Life with the Saints.") Sadly, today their feast is often used as a weapon against LGBTQ people. Why?....»

In this Post James Martin feigns religiosity by talking about the holy martyrs of Uganda but maliciously lying and diverting the focus to the 'refugees' to conclude by contradicting the true story.

A few centuries ago, the young San Pelayo -whose feast we Catholics celebrate on June 26- gave his life in defense of purity against the degenerate seductions of the Caliph of Córdoba, where, having been a captive, he observed that high positions were bought with the prostitution of consciences first, and then of bodies.
