Re: #3 This makes no sense, if one is a Catholic and disposed by the proper state of grace (no mortal sins), he can receive Holy Communion. IMO no one should approach the altar unless they are to receive - this "get a blessing" notion in a modernist novelty - like a participation trophy. We see how it's being used to approve homo faux "marriage"!
