L’abbé Eric Flood, Supérieur du District, a été contacté à deux heures du matin par la police qui l’a informé que l’abbé Kenneth Walker, FSSP avait été assassiné et que l’abbé Joseph Terra se trouvait dans un état critique. Le moral de l’abbé Terra est remarquablement bon et il communique maintenant sans difficultés. Il a des blessures à la tête et un certain nombre de fractures. Il aura une longue convalescence, mais sa vie n’est pas en danger et il devrait se rétablir complètement. Nous sommes reconnaissants à Dieu et aux nombreuses prières qui ont été offertes pour lui. Murder of a priest of the FSSP in Arizona ; parish priest also in critical condition The evening of June 11 the Fraternity Rectory in Phoenix was broken into. Fr. Eric Flood, District Superior, was contacted at 2 am by the police who informed him that Fr. Kenneth Walker, FSSP had been killed and that Fr. Joseph Terra was in critical condition. Fr. Terra’s morale is remarkably strong and he is now communicating. He has head injuries and a number of broken bones. He will have a long recovery, but his life is not in danger and he should have a full recovery. We are grateful to God and the many prayers that have been offered. Fr. Walker’s family is strong in their faith and grateful for all of the prayers. There will be a Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of Fr. Walker offered by Fr. Flood and assisted at by Bishop Olmsted of Phoenix on Monday. The date for the funeral Mass cannot be determined; due to the crime involved, it is still uncertain when the body of Fr. Wkrótce po założeniu Bractwa, ordynariusz diecezji augsburskiej w południowych Niemczech, biskup Joseph Stimpfle, na prośbę kardynała Ratzingera erygowal pierwszy dom Bractwa na terenie Sanktuarium Maryjnego w miejscowości Wigratzbad w Bawarii gdzie obecnie znajduje się europejskie seminarium Bractwa.
