Tyburn Convent, cloistered Benedictine nuns in London, could face a Vatican investigation because most nuns refuse the Covid injections. Westminster Archdiocese reported the nuns to the Religouse Congregation. Mother General Marilla Aw hails from a medical family, is obvious in favour of vaccines but questions the safety of the Covid-injections. Westminster Archdiocese told CatholicHerald.co.uk (March 24) that allegations about the convent's “internal governance” were made by individuals from outside the community. A national newspaper made up the story that nuns were put under pressure by Mother Marilla not to be injected. However, Mother Marilla left the decision to the single nuns and she doesn’t know the injection status of the nuns. Days ago, Santa Caterina Benedictine Monastery in Perugia, Italy, was closed for refusing the injection. #newsRiujcrffsq

This picture is so striking....the child's solicitude, the perspective of Our Lord struggling beneath His Cross....I downloaded it for meditation. Beautiful.....thank you for sharing it. One other thought....Saint Teresa of Avila recounts in her biography that after years of what she considered lukewarmness as a nun, she fell to her knees sobbing beside an image of Our Lord wounded in His Passion and told Him she would not rise from that spot until He converted her.....He did. She said that from that moment she was transformed. And...she went on to become one of the greatest mystics in Church history. Such is the power of meditating on Our Dear Lord's Passion and death for us.
