The late Belgian Catholic priest Abbé Maurice Léonard, who was publicly mourned by his female “companion” and his “children of the heart,” was not an isolated case. RiposteCatholique.fr has published on January 29 another obituary that renews questions about clerical celibacy in Belgium. Abbé Marc Otjacques, a longtime priest in the Andenne region, died on September 4, 2025 at age 73 in a bicycle accident while returning from presiding over a Eucharist. The official diocesan obituary praised his decades-long commitment to the poor and made no mention of a concubine. According to a separate family-published notice, the priest was mourned by Madeleine Dorjoux, identified as his companion; Caroline and Ludovic Trufin-Struvay, described as his “daughter of the heart” and son-in-law; and Laure-Anne and Romain, his beloved grandchildren. #newsHynsecvpst

Monaco celebrates St. Dévote with pontifical mass | Shalom World News On January 27, Monaco came alive with the annual ‘Saint Dévote celebrations’, honoring its beloved patron saint. The day began with a spirit-filled pontifical mass at Sainte-Dévote Church, led by Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem. Prince Albert II, Princess Charlène, their children Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, Mayor Georges Marsan, and dignitaries from Monaco’s twin towns of Lucciana and Dolceacqua gathered among the faithful. After the mass, a traditional procession wound through the streets of Monaco Ville, carrying the saint’s relics. Residents joined in, their numbers swelling as the procession approached the Prince’s Palace. The festivities had started the previous evening, when flames danced on Port Hercule during the symbolic burning of a boat, a vivid re-enactment of the saint’s legendary arrival by sea. The celebration ended on a luminous note with a candlelit …Caman
One thing as a FAITHFUL CATHOLIC is that, I will never refrain from knowing that GOD in His predilection has chosen Russia to be His instrument in our times as is the Holy Will of GOD. As a Catholic who loves TRUTH, to follow people today who choose to be blind and deaf about Russia, it reminds one that the followers of the "leaders" and their accomplices of the c-ov-id scamdemic who inverted the TRUTH by gaslighting, fear mongering, and psychological mind-manipulation continue to be unable to break away from the matrix of the propaganda mongers who always deceive and invert the TRUTH.
I read the article. It seems to obfuscate placing the blame of Trumps Bolshevik revolution in the hands of Israel. Israel is simply a Russian KGB proxy.
On Wednesday, a Swiss court found left-wing politician Sanija Ameti guilty of sharing photos in 2024 of her shooting at pictures of Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary. The former Green Liberal Party (GLP) member was given a suspended fine totalling 3,500 Swiss francs for disturbing freedom of religion. While the judge acknowledged that her actions showed clear disregard for the Christian faith, the court ruled that Ameti had not intended to cause offence, citing emotional distress. Following the incident, Ameti apologised, deleted the post, resigned from the GLP and lost her job.

Vatican Council II has a reality of its own. This is not know to Pope Leo. We affirm Ad Gentes 7 (all need faith and baptism for salvation) and then point out that Lumen Gentium 16 is not an exception for AG 7. We cannot first, affirm LG 16 and then suggest that LG 16 etc are physically visible cases of known persons saved outside the Catholic Church, without faith and baptism, in the present times. This would be irrational and it would be confusing. In inter-religious dialogue the blue passages dominate and the red passagesare not explicit exceptions for AG 7. Pope Leo cannot cite LG 16 etc as the norm for salvation or an exception for AG 7 and the dogma EENS. This would be irrational. In Collegiality, for all, the blue passages dominate and the redare not exceptions. So we have unity. There is no liberal-traditionalist division since the Council and Catechism are no more liberal. In traditional mission; ecclesiocentric mission like in the Middle Ages, the blue passages in …Caman

An excerpt from the article by Jason Jones- --- "Under international law and longstanding status-quo arrangements, military intimidation or interference around holy sites is prohibited. Nevertheless, local sources warn that any Palestinian who contests or resists these measures faces severe punishment, including arrest, physical violence, or collective reprisals by Israeli forces."
The bishops in Flanders, Belgium, want to keep the debate open on allowing women to become deacons, according to CathoBel.be on January 29. They published a statement saying that the issue should not be considered closed at the local level, even after the recent Vatican study. The bishops said that church tradition should not be the deciding factor in the discussion, and that "signs of the times" should be taken seriously. This was in response to the open letter from a group of women frustrated by the recent Vatican study. The bishops replied that they "understand the women’s feelings". Furthermore, they said that women should be more closely involved in decision-making relating to theology, liturgy and pastoral care, and described women’s leadership in the Church as “an undeniable enrichment”. They added that it is not a good thing that only men carry out liturgical roles during church celebrations. They want women to have greater visibility within Church life, within existing limits. …Caman
Not entirely accurate - there would be no need for supplies to counteract tear gas & noise pollution, since a peaceful protest wouldn't necessitate a forceful response from law enforcement. I've been to several "Marches for Life" that were entirely peaceful. THE MEDIA LIES THAT THESE RIOTOUS DEMONSTRATIONS ARE PEACEFUL!!!

A priest, 57, former member of the conservative French community St Jean, was tried on 29 January before the tribunal correctionnel d’Alençon, Orne, France, on charges of corruption of tw minors over the age of 15 and possession of pornographic images involving minors. He was found guilty and sentenced to six months’ imprisonment, fully suspended. The case concerns acts alleged to have occurred in July 2014 in London during a language trip. The priest was accompanying two young men, brothers of each other, both over 15, who regarded him as a mentor. According to the investigation, one adolescent reported that the priest washed his back and feet in a shared shower and then asked him to wash the priest’s genitals, while the second brother described different but comparable inappropriate acts. The victims stated that their mother had known the priest since before their birth, reinforcing the relationship of trust. Following a complaint by one of the brothers, French authorities opened a …Caman
