A beautiful lie...
When you mix the truth with something that you wanted to be true but it's not, you get a beautiful lie. True, the Catholic Church has the fullness of the Truth, false the other religion had the truth (Jewish), but rejected its peak in Christ, the other "religions" if we ever want to call something that push souls stray as a true one, all of them with NO exception, calls Jesus a prophet but won’t adhere to His teachings in any way, therefore they are false.
A beautiful lie ONLY numbs or disarms your spiritual defenses so you could become food for hell, the silly... but "refreshing idea", that all religions could join hand in hand, even with "atheists who do good", is not just a sugar high or some sort of Woodstock moment, it is a delivertly crafted manuver from hell to ruin souls.
There is NO doubt whatsoever that Divine Mercy CAN be given to souls who never have heard the gospel, souls who have lived their lives doing their very best to honor Almighty Father, as it is stated that there’s 2 witnesses in Revelations AND there’s also the Cross, as 2 thieves were crucified beside our Lord, st Dismas, without baptism enjoyed Jesus Mercy just at the nick of time, when He was about to die, Dismas acknowledged before our Lord his cruel ways and sins and proclaimed Jesus innocence, just for that sincere gesture, the good thief is now in Heaven enjoying His glory forever.
Does fr. Barron knows this? Yes he does... Sadly, he takes truth and a lie and produces a beautiful lie, something that is destructive for souls, the question is why? Many reasons could be at play, the most logical one is he believes the lie to be true, it's way too easy to point a finger to a popular priest that sometimes preaches solid truth, but it could be that deep inside he doesn’t really believe.
Fr. Barron is just one example of hundreds of priests out there preaching everyday mediocre gospel, the problem it's the appeal to the flesh, that all roads leads to heaven despite you or despite which ever religion you practice. This is precisely why our Lord prayed for his disciples to remain one, He knew the devil was outhere like a lion ready to devour them if a chance was given.
Can someone be saved outside the Catholic Church? That would be impossible as Jesus is the ONLY way to be saved, and being an atheist or a cow worshipper would disqualify you UNLESS, just in the nick of time, you do the same as Dismas and recognize and embrace our Lord Jesus AND which religion has shown this Divine Mercy? The Catholic Church, whose reach no other christian religion can escape.
Pray for priests, our catholic priests endure the punches from the world, and our leadership which are NO longer Catholic.
