I have determined that the problem with the Church, if that can be said, is that Catholics do not strive with all their hearts and minds to keep the presence of God. If we could see Our Blessed Lord we would always be on our best behaviour but we live as if He were absent except when we have formal times of prayer. It's very sad because the supernatural vision we have is diminished or lost. If only we all believed that God can make us great saints.
Also that our desire is often weak and we don't beg Him to increase it. It is also very sad to see Catholics worrying or being anxious. I deleted my google account and am withdrawing from the internet because I have looked too many years at hand wringing Catholics and it is disturbing.

We must work to encourage one another. There is a YouTube channel I only discovered after deleting my google account(funny that!) called "anselman" where this gentle Scottish fellow reads works from many saints and holy men and it is a beautiful channel, sweet with tones of "home". Leo had the perfect opportunity to unite the Church so I am most puzzled by his divisive statement regarding Francis being in heaven. If a smart man wanted to unite the Church he wouldn't say that. Now in his general audience he is reported to have said "God is confident and hopes that sooner or later the seed will blossom." But we know God does not hope, nor does He have confidence so I am expecting to see a lot of doctrine watered down.

Read St John Bosco's dream about the Pope on the ship. First Pope is Francis, it describes how he died, second pope is a holy man. Would we recognise Christ if we were alive 2000 years ago or would we say "He does things differently to how I want them done and I am very smart so He must be wrong?"
