The Euthanasia Bill in Britain is defeated, for now. The House of Commons has rejected the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill, defeating the latest attempt to legalize assisted suicide in England and Wales. MPs voted 286 to 270 against the legislation at its second reading. This is a decisive reversal that ends the bill’s progress through Parliament. Had it passed, the law would have allowed terminally ill adults with a life expectancy of less than six months to receive “assistance” in ending their lives under “specified conditions.” Opposition came from far beyond religious and pro-life circles. Doctors, disability advocates, legal experts, and others warned that vulnerable people could face subtle pressure or coercion, while serious concerns remained about safeguards and the state of Britain’s palliative and hospice care. Archbishop John Sherrington of Liverpool welcomed the result and thanked MPs, healthcare professionals, lawyers, disability organizations, people of different …Caman
The secret of “70 times 7”… Liturgy for September 13th – 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time Dear brothers and sisters, Jesus’s invitation to always forgive one another—just as His Father forgives—can help us understand how precious we are in the eyes of that Father who loved the world so much that He sent His only begotten Son to save us from eternal damnation and grant us eternal life. Jesus knows that the evil, frailties, and miseries of this life contribute to creating a sort of “invisible prison” around us—one that isolates us and prevents us from communicating with God, living in friendship with others, caring for creation, and knowing our true identity. In this wretched state, having fallen prey to despair, it seems to us that there is no way out. Nevertheless, Jesus knows that if, through the purity of His Love, He succeeds in overcoming the hardness of our pride and penetrate the prison of our hearts, then the desires for life, love, and happiness that God has hidden in the depths of …Caman
There are so few African-American bishops because of “racism,” Washington Auxiliary Bishop Robert Boxie said in a September 7 interview with Catholic News Service. He was appointed by Pope Leo XIV on May 1. The numbers: Of 268 active U.S. bishops, five (2%) are Black. Black Americans make up 2% of U.S. Catholics and, over the past 20 years, about 2% of U.S. priestly ordinations.
Why are there so few Black bishops in America? “The short answer is racism.” America’s youngest bishop, Robert Boxie, Auxiliary of Washington.

Emma Bonino has died at 78. For decades, she was one of Italy’s most prominent Radical politicians. She was a leading campaigner for abortion, euthanasia, drug legalization, and more secular causes. Although she was not a medical professional, Bonino, according to her own testimony, performed over 10,000 illegal abortions. She is one of the most sinister figures in the history of Italy. Bonino nevertheless praised Francis, who maintained a warm personal relationship with her and personally visited her in 2024, bringing her flowers and chocolates.
The priest behind the infamous “Eucharist at sea” has been appointed head of University Pastoral Ministry for the Archdiocese of Milan for the next five years. In July 2022, Don Mattia Bernasconi celebrated a Novus Ordo Mass waist-deep in the sea off Crotone, using an inflatable mattress as an “altar.” Since September 1, he has overseen the Archdiocese’s pastoral work with university students, while continuing as chaplain at Humanitas University, a position he has held since 2023.

Co na to biskup lokalny? Kolejny duchowny pajac któremu się zachciało "unowocześniać" Kościół Święty.

They discuss how they've never met anyone in their life who uses algebra, which is "fake math" for people "in the matrix." They conclude that caring about algebra is something that only "good little goy slaves" do.
Msgr. Roger Landry, 55, a prominent conservative U.S. priest, has been restricted from public ministry following non-sexual misconduct allegations by “multiple individuals.” The Diocese of Fall River said on September 11 that the allegations involve adults and possible violations of priestly codes of conduct in both Fall River and the Archdiocese of New York. After an initial investigation in New York, the diocese said there was “sufficient evidence” to impose restrictions while the case continues. Landry, who has also celebrated the traditional Roman Rite, denies wrongdoing. He says the accusations essentially concern alleged boundary violations between spiritual direction and friendship.
The Diocese of Fall River, Mass., announced Friday that Msgr. Roger Landry has been restricted from public ministry after allegations of misconduct were made against the priest by 'multiple individuals.'
Emma Bonino has died aged 78. May God have mercy on her soul. She was one of the most consequential figures in modern Italian politics, and Catholics should be honest about what that legacy means. She devoted much of her public life to causes fundamentally opposed to Catholic moral teaching, most notably the legalisation and promotion of abortion. She became a principal architect of Italy’s transformation from an overwhelmingly Catholic culture into a far more secular one. That makes Pope Francis’s repeated warmth towards her, including his extraordinary description of Bonino as one of Italy’s “forgotten greats”, all the more difficult to understand.
Bishop Schneider: Document Against Co-Redemptrix Will One Day Be Cancelled Synodality is a “very cunning code word to undermine Catholic doctrine”, Bishop Athanasius Schneider told AdVaticanum on September 10. He believes the vagueness of the word is deliberate, a means of gradually adapting Catholic doctrine, morality and ecclesial structures to Protestantism and contemporary attitudes toward sexuality. Monsignor Schneider calls synodality the height of the modernist movement, leading toward relativism. He adds that this openness has one notable exception: the traditional Latin Mass. “This document will be cancelled” Responding to the document Mater Populi Fidelis against the Marian titles Co-Redemptrix and Mediatrix of All Graces, Bishop Schneider argues that the Church cannot cancel language found in missals and used by popes, saints and Doctors of the Church. He believes the document, not the titles, will eventually disappear: “I think, in the future, this document will be cancelled.” …Caman

Cardinal Vesco: Netanyahu Wants the Palestinian People to “Disappear” During the Consistory, Leo XIV told the cardinals, “Support me, stand with me in this battle against war,” pro-homosexual Cardinal Jean-Paul Vesco of Algiers told IlMessaggero.it on August 23. Questioning the “Just War” Cardinal Vesco questioned the Christian concept of a just war, arguing that “for those who are fighting, their own war is always just.” While acknowledging a right to self-defense, he asked, “But up to what point?” “In any case, war itself is not just. In the end, we no longer know where to draw the line.” Israel and its “Settlements, Settlements, Settlements” On Gaza, CardinalVesco recalled living in Jerusalem for two years and visiting Gaza several times during the Intifada: “I experienced the checkpoints and saw with my own eyes the humiliation they represented. Today it is much worse.” Even then, he said, it was difficult to believe in a two-state solution because the Israeli authorities did not …Caman

Sydney Archbishop: Homosexuals Mocked Catholic Faith Sydney Archbishop Anthony Fisher noted the producers of a homosexual performance staged inside a former Catholic church on Kent Street deliberately mocked the Catholic faith. Writing in CatholicWeekly.com.au on July 28, a week after hundreds of Catholics gathered outside the venue to pray the Rosary, Archbishop Fisher rejected claims that the show was simply artistic expression. The performances were "not neutral expressions of art" but "a deliberate appropriation, sexualisation, and denigration of symbols and rituals specific and sacred to the Catholic faith." The archbishop cited promotional images showing a pig offering McDonald's fries as the "Body of Christ," male performers dressed as nuns, and events titled "Sunday Mess" and "Unholy Confessions." He considered claims - that the production was not intended to mock Catholics - were "unpersuasive." "For Catholics, the Eucharist is not a cultural motif available for parody," Fisher …Caman
Jane Allen was suffering from anorexia. She traveled to Colorado seeking treatment. Instead, her doctor offered assisted suicide — a prescription for death. Her father intervened just in time. Jane began to heal — eating again, tapering off morphine. The anorexia clinic dropped her, calling her a “liability.” When Jane chose life, her doctors walked away. Assisted suicide isn’t healthcare. It’s preying on the sick and vulnerable.

Two pastors in South Korea have been fined 1 million won (about €620) each after loudly preaching on a domestic flight from Jeju to Seoul. They shouted that passengers would “go to hell” if they did not believe in Jesus, while one moved around the cabin. They continued despite instructions from the cabin crew to stop. A Seoul court found that their conduct constituted a disturbance under South Korea’s Aviation Security Act.
The court said the 64-year-old pastor stood in the aisle despite repeated attempts by crew members to stop him and shouted at passengers, “You will go to hell if you don’t believe in Jesus.”
