Chapter XX ~ Diversity of the Pains — King Sancho and Queen Guda — St. Lidwina and the Soul Transpierced — Blessed Margaret Mary and the Bed of Fire. We read in the Life of Blessed Margaret Mary that a soul was tortured in a bed of torments on account of her indolence during life ; at the same time she was subjected to a particular torture in her heart, on account of certain wicked sentiments, and in her tongue, in punishment of her uncharitable words. Moreover, she had to endure a frightful pain of an entirely different nature, caused neither by fire nor iron, but by the sight of a condemned soul. On 4 August, Peruvian essayist Santiago Roncagliolo, in a lengthy interview with Daniel Titinger, described Leo XIV's behind-the-scenes methods as Bishop Robert Prevost of Chiclayo, Peru. According to Roncagliolo, Prevost quietly built coalitions, divided opponents, managed information, and preferred discreet political action to public confrontation. Roncagliolo is broadly sympathetic to Leo XIV. "As a character to narrate he was a nightmare. He has no phrases, no scenes, no gestures. You ask the sources: 'What did Prevost say at that dramatic and crucial moment?' 'Nothing, I think'.'" Weakening Opus Dei from Within Interviewer Titinger described Prevost as "a Trojan horse": "He understands the adversary, doesn't confront him openly, but disables him from within. He's always quiet; that's why he wasn't well known." Roncagliolo does not reject the characterization and discusses Prevost in those terms. He also explains how Prevost weakened Opus Dei: "Prevost divided Opus Dei. He offered …更に表示

In these hours of Apostasy and Confusion in the Church: Which is the TRUE Church of Jesus? 1) Revelation 12:17; “Those who keep God’s commandments and hold fast to the Testimony of Jesus. 2) Revelation 2:8-11; To the angel of the church in Smyrna write: This is what the First and the Last, who was dead and came to life, says. I know your tribulation and your poverty—though you are rich—and the slander of those who call themselves Jews but are not, but are in fact a synagogue of Satan. Do not fear what you are about to suffer: the Devil will throw some of you into prison to test you, and you will face tribulation for ten days. Remain faithful even unto death, and I will give you the crown of life. Let anyone who has ears listen to what the Spirit says to the churches: the one who conquers will not be harmed by the second death. a) Colossians 1:13; The people delivered from the power of darkness and transferred into the Kingdom of the Son of His love. b) Philippians 3:20; Citizens of heaven …更に表示

Nie bój się tego, co masz wycierpieć: diabeł wrzuci niektórych z was do więzienia, aby was wypróbować, i będziecie znosić uciski przez dziesięć dni. Bądź wierny aż do śmierci, a dam ci koronę życia.
