Many dioceses across Europe, North America, and Asia have seen significant increases in Catholic baptisms and conversions this Easter. The strange thing is that anti-Catholic media including New York Times, Washington Post or CNN advertised this trend. The most significant increase was reported in France, where 21,386 catechumens were baptized during the Easter Vigil. The total included more than 13,000 adults and over 8,000 adolescents, marking the highest figure ever recorded in the country. Outside Europe, large numbers were also reported in parts of Asia. In Hong Kong, approximately 2,500 catechumens were baptized, while Singapore reported 1,089 catechumens entering the Church. In North America, several major dioceses published substantial baptism figures. The Archdiocese of Toronto reported 1,584 catechumens, while Vancouver recorded around 650 catechumens. In the United States, diocesan figures included approximately 900 catechumens in Richmond (Virginia), more than 680 in …Ibindi
White privilege doesn't exist coming from a white privileged person! LOL! Oh and I guess the fact that slavery and white privilege, which are in the blood of the US, suddenly goes away with affirmative action.
Sulaiman Ahmed @ShaykhSulaiman BREAKING: Iran's FM Araghchi on the Strait of Hormuz: It is not in international waters. It is the internal waters of Iran and Oman. The strait is currently open and is closed only to those who are at war with Iran. For many of them, especially those from friendly countries, we have put arrangements in place so they can pass through the strait safely. Some countries have passed through the strait after reaching an agreement with Iran. The Strait of Hormuz can be a waterway of peace, enabling the calm passage of ships from all countries. x.com/ShaykhSulaiman/status/2039345578287550503
Just another bone. How about you get rid of the satanist in our schools? How about stopping them from teaching children about it after school? How about kicking them out or banning them in the US as Russia has done. How about putting strict laws like Russia has on gays ? NO? Nor will you see anything of significance like that be done. Just a few bones here and there. And such tiny bones no less.
Catholic Italian author Vittorio Messori, 84, died on Good Friday in Desenzano, Italy. One of his most influential works was The Ratzinger Report, which was based on an interview with Joseph Ratzinger conducted in 1984. The book evaluated the Church's condition following the Second Vatican Council. Messori also collaborated with Pope John Paul II on the book Crossing the Threshold of Hope. In it, the Pope wrote that Jesus Christ is the unique Saviour of humanity and that Christianity contains the fullness of revealed truth. Throughout his career, Messori was renowned for his loyalty to the Church, coupled with his intellectual independence. #newsKlrgxiolhj

THE SHOCKING MEANING BEHIND THE VEIL TEARING AT JESUS’ DEATH Not what you think. Not even close. When Jesus died, Scripture says: “The veil of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom.” (Matthew 27:51) Most people read this and think: “It means God opened heaven.” “It shows the Old Covenant ended.” “It symbolized access to God.” Yes, but that is only the surface. What happened in that moment was far more devastating…far more dramatic…and far more dangerous than most Catholics ever realize. Let’s enter the Temple and see what truly happened. 1. The Veil Was Not a Curtain, It Was a Wall of Separation The veil was not a light cloth. It was: 60 feet high 30 feet wide 4 inches thick Woven from blue, purple, and scarlet Embroidered with cherubim guarding the Presence So heavy that hundreds of priests were needed to carry it It represented the barrier between God and man, between holiness and sin, between life and death. Behind it was the Holy of Holies, the place no man could enter …Ibindi
5. April 2026 5. April 2026 04/05/2026 Entire blog as a free PDF eBook. Trump is only successful. Others are to blame for failures. The dismissal of Attorney General Pam Bondi triggered a purge within the administrative structures of the White House and the Pentagon. According to reports, Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth demanded the immediate dismissal of the Army Chief of Staff, General Randy George, and two other high-ranking officers were dismissed without any official reason being given. I immediately thought of the situation among German generals at the end of World War II. I don’t want to compare Trump to Hitler. Different times, different politics. I’m comparing the situation before the collapse of military power with ambitions for world domination. Scale of the dismissals (1942–1945): In the context of the entire final phase of the war, press reports and historical sources spoke of the dismissal of several dozen to over 100 generals. In 1945 alone, in the face of final defeat, the …

"I know many bishops, and almost all of them — mostly from Western Europe — tell me that they also want to ordain married men," said Bishop Johan Bonny of Antwerp in an interview with Katholisch.de on 2 April. In March, he announced his intention to ordain married men as priests by 2028. "I have not yet heard a Catholic bishop tell me, 'Even if the Pope gives me the possibility, I will not ordain married men.' They know this in Rome as well." Bishop Bonny worked in the Vatican for eleven years and is familiar with the different interests at play: "In Rome, they understand the situation here, and I know bishops and cardinals who support this solution, at least in Western Europe." He believes that the ordination of married men as priests is "a great necessity". "The consensus is there." Until the 1960s, a diocese such as Antwerp's had almost 1,500 active priests, as well as several hundred more who were retired. Now, the diocese has fewer than 100 priests, half of whom come from abroad. …Ibindi
Four days ago, Pope Leo XIV praised Christian-Muslim “dialogue” during Wednesday’s meeting with the Programme for Christian-Muslim Relations in Africa. On Palm Sunday, dozens of Christians were slaughtered in Northern Nigeria.
"Christian-Muslim dialogue" - Yuck! There is no dialoguing with muslims. You might as well be dialing-a-dog! We should not be dialoguing with anyone, we should be preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to them and instructing them in the True Faith.
Girls are hitting puberty earlier than ever before — and the numbers are shocking. In the late 1800s, the average age was around 16–17. By the early 1900s it had dropped to 12.5–13. Today it’s down to about 11, with some Black and Hispanic girls showing signs as early as 8, 9, or even 6–7 years old — the earliest recorded in history. Patrick Bet-David asked FDA Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary why this is happening. Makary pointed to the modern environment: constant exposure to substances and chemicals with estrogen-like binding properties (found even in river water) that partially activate estrogen receptors. He called it a “huge issue” and an existential threat to human development, noting the age has been dropping by about a week and a half every year for the last 30 years. He also mentioned that in Europe, where some of these exposures may be lower, puberty still starts later (14–15 in some cases), and that American medicine has largely treated this as a minor footnote rather than …Ibindi
Watch till the end. ( 8:42 seconds or less)l. A Christian civilian. Killed by a foreign strike near his home. Buried by his Muslim neighbors. This is the Iran they don't show you. In a country the world calls divided by religion, Muslims carried their Christian brother to his final rest. Not because of politics. Not because of propaganda. Because that is who they are. We filmed his memorial service—the grief, the unity, the shared humanity. This video is not about war. It is about what survives war: faith, dignity, and the bonds that no bomb can break. Watch. To be clear, in the case of heresy it is God who judges it because the Catholic Faith is revealed by God. The Pope is in effect judged by God as a heretic when he rejects the faith. Any man can identify the Pope as a heretic freely without any problem in that case. The man is not judging the Pope, the Pope has already been judged by God. The man is simply expressing an existing judgement.
A Parable of a Quiet Prayer There once lived a husband and wife. They slept under the same blanket, but faced different directions in life. He believed in himself-in logic, in skill, in markets, in numbers, in crypto. He would say, “Work hard. Success comes to those who are strong.” She believed in God. And every night, after he had fallen asleep, she would quietly fold her hands in prayer. Not just for herself—for him. “Lord, watch over him. Give him wisdom. Keep him from mistakes. Bless the work of his hands.” Years went by. He prospered. Deals came together. Trouble seemed to pass him by. Even decisions made on a whim somehow turned out right. He would smile and say, “I knew it. I calculated everything perfectly. This is my mind. My work. My success.” She stayed silent. And thanked God. One day, an old pastor said to him. “You are a very wealthy man.” “I know,” the man replied proudly. “No,” the pastor smiled gently. “You are wealthy because someone stands before God for you …Ibindi
Multiple governments - including the USA, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Lebanon, and Poland, - condemned Israeli police for blocking a private prayer by Cardinal Pizzaballa at the church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem today. In response, Israeli officials say they are working on a plan to allow church leaders to worship at the holy site in the coming days. Cardinal Pizzaballa told TV2000 that there were no clashes: "Everything was done in a very polite manner. I do not want to force the issue. We want to use this situation to try to clarify better in the coming days what to do, in respect for everyone's safety but also in respect for the right to prayer."
Cardinal Pizzaballa: “It is true that the police had said that the orders from the internal command prevented any kind of gathering in places where there is no shelter, but we had not asked for anything public, just a brief and small private ceremony to preserve the idea of the celebration in the Holy Sepulchre. There were no clashes; everything was done in a very polite manner. I do not want to force the issue; we want to use this situation to try to clarify better in the coming days what to do, in respect for everyone's safety but also in respect for the right to prayer."
