Saint Toribio Romo - February 25
AP on Aug 3, 2015 Saint Toribio (in Latin Thuribius) Romo González (April 16, 1900 – February 25, 1928) was a Roman Catholic priest and Mexican martyr who died in the Cristero War.
He was born on April 16, 1900, in Santa Ana de Guadalupe, Jalostotitlán, Mexico, the son of Patricio Romo Perez and Juana González Romo. In 1912 he entered the Auxiliary Seminary in San Juan de los Lagos. In 1922 he was ordained as a priest and offered his first Mass on January 5, 1923. He primarily emphasized catechesis. When the religious persecutions began in 1927 he was ordered by the government to confine himself to his residence and was not allowed to pray the Rosary in public or to celebrate Mass.
He served in parishes in Sayula, Tuxpan, Yahualica and Cuquío. When the anti-clerical persecutions began he took up residence in an old factory near AguasCalientes, and used it as a refuge where he continued to celebrate Mass.

One of the Bible’s Greatest Moral Revolutions
nytimes.com/…22/opinion/immigrants-religion- …
Rabbi Held is the president and dean of the Hadar Institute, and the author, most recently, of “Judaism Is About Love.”
A hallmark of the second Trump administration has been the hunt for the foreign born, from children to adults, criminal status apparently notwithstanding. Many of the administration officials who champion this project often invoke God in their speeches, asserting that their allegiance to the Constitution is rooted in their fealty to a far older text: the Bible. It is clear that many of our leaders lack the most fundamental understanding of the central biblical commandment to love and care for the immigrant.
The Bible explicitly commands three loves. The first and second many modern Christians and Jews cite easily — love of God and love of one’s neighbor. The third, and most often overlooked, is love of the ger. Several English translations interpret ger as “sojourner,” …More

RELIGIOUS COMMUNITIES CAN NOW RETURN TO THE PAST ECCLESIOLOGY BY SIMPLY INTERPRETING LG 16 ETC RATIONALLY

RELIGIOUS COMMUNITIES CAN NOW RETURN TO THE PAST ECCLESIOLOGY BY SIMPLY INTERPRETING LG 16 ETC RATIONALLY
Tradition is not restricted to the Latin Mass.
By affirming LG 8, 14, 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc in Vatican Council II as referring to hypothetical and invisible cases in 2026 the priest and congregation return to the past ecclesiology.
So there is no need to change the text of Vatican Council II to return to past orthodoxy. We simply interpret LG 8, 14, 16 etc rationally and the Council automatically and immediately becomes traditional.

It is now possible for all religious communities, even those who offer the Novus Ordo Mass to affirm the exclusivist ecclesiology of the Roman Missal by citing Vatican Council II, the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the Bible.
Tradition is not restricted to the Latin Mass.
By simply avoiding the Rahner LG 16 mistake and replacing it with a rational interpretation of LG 16, the theology of the Catholic Church at every rite and liturgy …More

Nadiya Hussain claims she is a victim of racism in the 'broken' TV industry and claims her Muslim faith 'made people uncomfortable'

Nadiya Hussain has claimed that she is a victim of racism in the 'broken' TV industry and that her Muslim faith has 'made people uncomfortable'.
The TV chef soared to fame in 2015 after she was crowned the winner of The
Great British Bake Off and has since bagged herself a number of BBC shows, including Nadiya's Asian Odyssey, Nadiya's Cook Once Eat Twice and Nadiya's Time To Eat.
However, back in June the quiet and nervy star posted a video on Instagram in which she shared the BBC had decided to no longer commission another one of her shows after 10 years on our screens.
In the video, Nadiya spoke about 'gaslighting' in the TV industry and said she felt as a Muslim woman, had not always been supported or allowed to fulfil her potential.
And now, over six months later, Nadiya has left no holds barred as she spoke out about being a victim of racism in the industry, saying: 'I get paid less to do the same job as the white version of me.'
Nadiya has an inkling that it was the publication …

Vatican Confirms Three Trips for Leo XIV

The Holy See has confirmed today three international trips for Pope Leo XIV, putting to rest months of speculation.
He will begin with a one-day visit to the Monaco on March 28, marking the Principality’s first modern papal visit.
From April 13 to 23, Leo XIV will embark on a ten-day journey across Africa, visiting Algeria, Cameroon, Angola, and Equatorial Guinea. The visit to Algeria will trace the footsteps of St. Augustine, while stops in Cameroo, Angola and Equatorial Guinea will emphasize peace. The journey recalls the historic 1985 African trip of John Paul II.
From June 6 to 12, the Pope will travel to Spain, visiting Madrid and Barcelona. In Barcelona, he will inaugurate the new and tallest tower of the iconic Sagrada Família, designed by Antoni Gaudí. The visit will also include the Canary Islands - Tenerife and Gran Canaria - a key migration route between Africa and Europe.

Exploring Inner & Middle Temple
London has four inns of court, where historically lawyers worked, ate, slept and drank ...much like a hotel or inn (hence the name). They are Gray's Inn, Lincoln's Inn and Inner and Middle Temple.
The last two get their name as the land once belonged the 12th century Templar Knights. Their round chapel from this time is still here even though lawyers have inhabited the area since the 14th century. It's a wonderful area with amongst other things a 16th century Elizabethan Hall and is well worth having a mooch about. Perhaps not surprisingly it has formed the backdrop to many a film and TV drama including Shakespeare in Love, Bridget Jones, Operation Mincemeat, The Da Vinci Code and loads more.

Spanish Bishops Clarify Leo XIV's Remarks Against "Far Right" Politics

On 24 February, the Spanish Bishops’ Conference stated that, during their meeting with Pope Leo XIV last November, he had warned them about "the risks of subjecting faith to ideologies":
"Pope Leo XIV received us with special affection, listened to all the members of the Commission, and encouraged us in our commitment to evangelising, to which the Church in Spain is dedicated. The Holy Father also encouraged communion among all the members and institutions that make up the Church."
The statement adds: "In the dialogue, the Pope reflected on the risks of aligning faith with ideologies without referencing any particular group."
The statement functions as a formal clarification. On Monday, newspaper El País reported that Leo XIV had expressed concern to the Spanish bishops about the risk of the far right attempting to instrumentalise the Church, particularly with regard to issues such as migration. However, the original report did not claim that the Pope named any specific political …More

Lies, damn lies, Bill Gates

Oh, that careful wording of the elites.
Immoral? Yup.
Illegal in any of the 50 states? Sure.
"Illicit on private property off shore?" Arguably no.
My opinion is that Gates, who thinks himself a global leader, is only a useful idiot, a puppet of those really running the show.

Novus Ordo Must Be Accepted in Obedience - Cardinal Brandmüller

Cardinal Walter Brandmüller, 97, appeals on Diakonos.be (February 24) to find a rite of the Mass that finally corresponds to Vatican II. His main points, shortened for readability.
- It was not Sacrosanctum Concilium of Vatican II, but the post-conciliar implementation that opened a rift in much of the Catholic world.
- One must ask why Paul VI’s reforms was perceived as a break with tradition.
- The consequences were grave: arbitrariness and unbridled individualism replaced the Mass with personal compositions, even in ring binders.
- The result was liturgical chaos and an unprecedented exodus from the Church that continues today.
- Paul VI’s reform of the missal, though not without flaws, faced criticism that, while often understandable, was not justified.
- The “Novus Ordo,” promulgated by the pope, had to be accepted in obedience despite legitimate criticism.
- If Christ’s obedience unto death is made present in the Eucharist, it cannot be celebrated in disobedience.
- For some, …More

And - In the celebration of the Novus Ordo Liturgy, the Clergy is obligated to follow the teachings of Christ and the Apostles - not some Clown show that destroys the validity and Holiness of that mass.
It is now the Pope's responsibility to correct the Chicken Dance Shows and other Heresies.

Anthony November

I think letters like this are only persuasive if one hasn’t taken the time to examine the actual changes made to the prayers and rubrics of the Mass. Once you study them closely, the differences are unmistakable.
Even the General Instruction, first promulgated after Vatican II, initially offered a definition of the Mass so theologically outrageous that it had to be revised almost immediately. But by then, the underlying shift in emphasis was already evident. If the intention behind the mass is not sacrifice, but assembly, then during the Consecration one cannot be blamed in questioning whether the priest intends to do what the Church intends.

John-Henry Westen: An open letter to Cardinal Sarah on the SSPX

My dear Cardinal Sarah, I read your recent essay on the SSPX with interest and, I must confess, great heartache.
On February 22, 2026, Cardinal Robert Sarah—a respected voice for tradition in the Church—published an impassioned essay in the French newspaper Le Journal du Dimanche. Titled “Before it is too late!”, it’s a direct intervention against the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X’s (SSPX’s) announcement of episcopal ordinations without papal mandate.
Sarah calls this a grave threat to Church unity, urging fidelity to the Pope as the successor of Peter. Among his strongest words: “One cannot claim to disobey the Church in order to save it. Disobedience to the Pope cannot be the ordinary path of salvation for souls.” And even more pointedly: “It is through obedience that Christ saved the world. It is not by rebellion that we will save the Church.”
These quotes capture his core plea: stay in the boat of Peter, no matter the storm. Now, with that context, here’s my response to …More

The Justice Department has withheld some Epstein files related to allegations that President Trump sexually abused a minor, an NPR investigation finds. It also removed some documents from the public database where accusations against Jeffrey Epstein also mention Trump.
Some files have not been made public despite a law mandating their release. These include what appears to be more than 50 pages of FBI interviews, and notes from conversations with a woman who accused Trump of sexual abuse decades ago when she was a minor.
NPR reviewed multiple sets of unique serial numbers appearing before and after the pages in question, stamped onto documents in the Epstein files database, FBI case records, emails …

With the Trump administration moving forward with plans to rapidly acquire warehouses for what could become a nationwide mass detention network, it’s no longer a question of whether the government will expand mass detention to lock up Americans for defying its mandates but when.

Locked Down. Rounded Up. Warehoused. The Rise of America’s Concentration Camps | By John & Nisha Whitehead

“No doubt concentration camps were a means, a menace used to keep order.”—Albert Speer, Nuremberg Trials
In 2021, amid a global pandemic, warnings that the federal government might repurpose warehouses into detention facilities on American soil were dismissed as speculative, alarmist, even conspiratorial.
Five years later, what was speculation is a blueprint for locking up whomever the government chooses to target.
According to investigative reports, the Department of Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Enforcement are actively purchasing warehouses, factories and industrial buildings across the country for use as detention centers—often with little public notice, minimal oversight, and virtually no accountability.
This is no longer a warning.
It is a five-alarm fire.
With the Trump administration moving forward with plans to rapidly acquire warehouses for what could become a nationwide mass detention network, it’s no longer a question of whether the government will expand …
