Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 20,19-31. On the evening of that first day of the week, when the doors were locked, where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and said to them, «Peace be with you.» When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord. (Jesus) said to them again, "Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you." And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, "Receive the holy Spirit. Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained." Thomas, called Didymus, one of the Twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. So the other disciples said to him, "We have seen the Lord." But he said to them, "Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands and put my finger into the nailmarks and put my hand into his side, I will not believe." Now a week later his disciples were again inside and Thomas was with …More

Putin has repeatedly stressed the need to safeguard and cultivate “traditional spiritual and moral values,” as well as to promote Russian culture at home and abroad. In November 2022, he signed a decree instructing state institutions to combat what it described as “destructive ideologies.”
This is the priest who died on the Titanic to hear confessions and administer last rites. Given the opportunity to board a lifeboat on two separate occasions, Father Thomas Byles firmly declined. He chose instead to stay behind, absolving sins and consoling the doomed passengers. Following the vessel's collision with the iceberg, he assembled the remaining crowds on the aft deck. Those who lived through the disaster recalled him standing bravely amid the panic, listening to confessions, granting collective absolution, and reciting the Rosary right up until the ocean claimed the stern. This is the type of story we should elevate, heroic virtue. May the Lord bless us with more holy men possessing the courage of Father Thomas Byles.
I was just mentioning him to my coworkers recently! What a true hero! Those locked in steerage were blessed to have the last rites! It was better for them to save their souls then end up losing them in the States! My blood boils when I think of those Catholics being murdered!
"I saw now that the angel touched or anointed Joachim’s forehead with the tip of his thumb and forefinger, and that he gave him a shining morsel to eat and a luminous liquid to drink from a gleaming little chalice which he held between two fingers. It was of the shape of the chalice at the Last Supper, but without a foot. It seemed to me, too, that this food which he put in his mouth took the form of a little shining ear of corn and a little shining cluster of grapes, and I understood that thereafter every impurity and every sinful desire left Joachim. Thereupon I saw that the angel imparted to Joachim the highest and holiest fruit of the blessing given by God to Abraham, and culminating, through Joseph, in the holy thing within the Ark of the Covenant, in the presence of God among His people."

First Letter of Peter 1,3-9. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who in his great mercy gave us a new birth to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you who by the power of God are safeguarded through faith, to a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the final time. In this you rejoice, although now for a little while you may have to suffer through various trials, so that the genuineness of your faith, more precious than gold that is perishable even though tested by fire, may prove to be for praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Although you have not seen him you love him; even though you do not see him now yet believe in him, you rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy, as you attain the goal of (your) faith, the salvation of your souls. angelyelina
The anti-Catholic Robert Prevost, in his continued rebellion against God and the Church, appoints the apostate Claudio Pablo Castricone—an ally of the anti-Catholic Bergoglio—to the former diocese of the homosexual Zanchetta.
On 10 April, Pope Leo XIV appointed Monsignor Claudio Pablo Castricone as coadjutor bishop of the diocese of Orán in Argentina. Born on 16 April 1958 in Villa Constitución, he was ordained a priest in 1984. Monsignor Castricone has openly identified with Francis’s destructive programme for decades. The article's photograph shows him meeting Cardinal Bergoglio in Misiones, northern Argentina, in 2007. Diocese of Orán: Ruined by Homosexual Leadership The diocese of Orán is famous because it was led by the homosexual Gustavo Oscar Zanchetta, another close associate of Francis, from 2013 to 2017. In 2017, Francis accepted Zanchetta’s resignation for 'health reasons' and soon after appointed him to a Vatican financial role. It later emerged that priests had reported Zanchetta to Rome for possessing pornographic images of young men on his phone. He was also notorious for financial misconduct and abuse of authority. In 2022, he was convicted by an Argentine court of homosexually abusing two …More
"Upon his return, the most ample promises of obedience were made, but never fulfilled. So the saint again abandoned his rebellious flock, and went to preach the Gospel to the idolaters of Hungary. His success here, however, was not proportionate to his zeal ; and the Bohemians continuing as obstinate as ever, he again re turned to his monastery at Rome."

ADALBERT was born in Bohemia, of noble parent age, about the middle of the tenth century. His father, a Slavonian, sent him to study at Magdeburg, under the care of the Archbishop Adalbert ; who placed him in a school, under the direction of a holy monk, named Odericus, where the pupils, by serious attention to their studies, and most exemplary morals, edified one another. Adalbert, having remained nine years in this school, made considerable progress in human sciences, but still more in the science of the saints ; for whatever time was allowed for recreation, he spent in holy prayer, in relieving the poor, and visiting the sick. Having made a copious collection of books, consisting chiefly of the writings of the Fathers and Doctors of the Church …More

Acts of the Apostles 2,42-47. They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to the communal life, to the breaking of bread and to the prayers. Awe came upon everyone, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. All who believed were together and had all things in common; they would sell their property and possessions and divide them among all according to each one's need. Every day they devoted themselves to meeting together in the temple area and to breaking bread in their homes. They ate their meals with exultation and sincerity of heart, praising God and enjoying favor with all the people. And every day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved. Psalms 118(117),2-4.13-15.22-24. Let the house of Israel say, "His mercy endures forever." Let the house of Aaron say, “His mercy endures forever.” Let those who fear the LORD say, “His mercy endures forever.” I was hard pressed and was falling, but the LORD helped me. 11. 04.2026 HOW CAN POPE LEO BE THE POPE ? Pope Leo and Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernandez are in schism with LG 16 visible. With LG 16 invisible they become Feeneyite traditionalists. Jesus said “Take and Eat” Most Catholics tell Jesus:“Heck no, I don’t have to obey you Jesus said “Take and Eat” Most Catholics tell Jesus:“Heck no, I know a better way. I will open my mouth and stick out my tongue.”
I guess the Roman Catholic Church was wrong and disobedient then throughout most of her history. And all the Eastern Churches are wrong and disobedient for using various forms of intinction and spoons and forbidding Eastern Catholics from touching the Eucharist with their hands, too. Doctors of the Church, the Early Church Fathers, popes, saints, and encyclicals throughout most of the Church's history were wrong, because they interpreted receiving on the tongue or directly in the mouth as "taking". Well, in that case I'm glad we have the extremely wise and prudent and charitable @chris griffin here, on this online forum, to tell us what the saints and popes and Fathers of the Church and Doctors of the Church were too ignorant to teach us, and to tell us about how we are being prideful for insisting on not desecrating the Eucharist with our hands.
"These then were Christ's inward virtues: humility, charity, and patient endurance. These three virtues Christ our Bridegroom practised all His life, and He died with them, and paid our debt according to justice. And of His generosity He has opened His side. From there flow out the rivers of well-being and the sacraments of bliss."
[BLESSED JAN VAN RUYSBROEK – XIII-XIV Century AD; Ruisbroek, Holy Roman Empire/ Groenendael, Holy Roman Empire; Mystic, Spiritual Writer, Doctor Divinus Ecstaticus] “Chapter V ~ OF PATIENT ENDURANCE The third point is patient endurance. We should mark this point carefully, for it adorned Christ our Bridegroom all His life. For His sufferings began very early, as soon as He was born; they began with poverty and cold. Then He was circumcised and shed His blood; He was driven to a strange country; He served the lord Joseph and His mother; He suffered hunger and thirst, shame and contempt, the vile words and works of the Jews. He fasted, He watched, and He was tempted by the devil. He was subject to all men; He wandered from country to country, from town to town, with much labour and great zeal, that He might preach the Gospel. At last He was taken prisoner by the Jews, who were His enemies, though He was their friend. He was betrayed, mocked and insulted, scourged and buffeted, and …More
