The share of adults identifying as Catholic has declined sharply across much of Latin America over the past decade. The number of people with no religious affiliation has risen, according to a January 21 Pew Research Center report. This marks a shift in a region where more than 90% of people were Catholic around 1900. The report, Catholicism Has Declined in Latin America Over the Past Decade is based on surveys of more than 6,200 adults in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru conducted in spring 2024. Comparing the results with a similar 2013–14 survey, Pew found that the Catholic share fell by at least 9 percentage points in all six countries. Today, Catholics make up 46% of adults in Brazil and Chile, 58% in Argentina, 60% in Colombia, and 67% in both Mexico and Peru. A decade ago, all six countries had Catholic majorities of roughly six-in-ten or more adults. Can’t do it without the priests. Any priest with a plastic tab “collar”: RUN. Where are the street preachers? The bishops confronting the government? Revolution for God is the only good one, and it is a counterrevolution.
This report from the Pew Research Center is yet another reason for us, as Catholics, to "go all out." Is there still anyone who doubts that Vatican II was a failure? and that the time is near? and that it's better to be prepared...
Leo XIV today appointed Monsignor Carlo Roberto Maria Redaelli, 69, until now Archbishop of Gorizia, Italy, as Secretary of the Dicastery for the Clergy. Carlo Roberto Maria Redaelli (born 1956 in Milan) is a canon lawyer who served for many years in the Archdiocese of Milan before becoming Archbishop of Gorizia in 2012. He holds a doctorate in canon law from the Pontifical Gregorian University, where he specialized in the nature of Church law in the post–Vatican II period. Promoting Homosexuality In June 2017, in Staranzano, a small town in the Diocese of Gorizia, a leader of the Catholic Scout movement (AGESCI) entered into a homosexual civil union. The parish priest, Don Francesco Fragiacomo, stated that, as a consequence of this choice, he could no longer retain his role as a Catholic educator. Archbishop Redaelli intervened publicly and stabbed the priest in the back. The anti-Catholic slogans of Monsignor Redaelli were: One must seek the “grace present in every situation” and …ច្រើន
- Elon Musk: I think we'll figure out ways to extend life and maybe even reverse aging. I think that's highly likely. - BlackRock CEO Larry Fink: I'm looking forward to that.
BlackRock CEO Larry Fink asked Elon Musk whether aging could one day be reversed Musk said that once humanity understands what causes aging, “it will become incredibly obvious.” He added that he is confident humanity will find ways to extend life and possibly even reverse aging.
22.01.2026 Pope Leo did not tell Fr.John Berg, FSSP about Rahner’s LG 16-error just as Pope Benedict did not inform Bishop Fellay about it. It would be the end of liberalism with a Council which is traditional at every rite and liturgy. Pope Leo and the FSSP have not issued a statement saying Lumen Gentium 16, being saved in invincible ignorance, outside the Catholic Church, refers to a hypothetical case. So it is not an explicit exception for the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and Augustine’s massa dannata, as Rahner wrote in his book, The Christian of the Future. Pope Leo kept this new discovery on Vatican Council II a secret. We now know that with Ad Gentes 7 Vatican Council II is aligned with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus of the Council of Florence and invisible cases in 2025, of LG 16 etc are not objective exceptions for EENS and the rest of Tradition. Pope Benedict did not tell this to Archbishop Lefebvre and the SSPX bishops before he excommunicated them for not …ច្រើន
In Kurmin Wali, Kaduna State, Nigeria, gunmen attacked three churches during Sunday services on January 18, and kidnapped about 177 Christians. Although residents reported the abductions immediately, Nigerian authorities first denied they occurred. After public pressure, police confirmed the kidnappings and said security forces were deployed to find the victims.
Nigerian police have CONFIRMED that 177 Christians were KIDNAPPED from their churches last weekend .The confirmation comes after the police originally DENIED that the kidnappings had occurred. They have since denied the denial, calling it a 'measured response'
Leftist women and their Romper Room mentality: Whether it’s the newest entrant into the Star Trek world or a day in court, leftist women, with their relentless faux “mommy-ness” demean our world.
One of my earliest memories dates to when I was three or, at most, four. Every day, I was glued to our black-and-white TV watching Romper Room, a television show for preschoolers. Miss Nancy opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and then conducted a 30-minute preschool class. This is what Miss Nancy was like back in the 1960s: It’s very sweet, very loving, very patriotic, and very appropriate for the 3-5-year-old set. But what happens when an entire political party is taken over by a horde of Miss Nancys? And worse, what happens when those Miss Nancys don’t focus their energy on raising normal, patriotic children (indeed, they want fewer children in the world, and think infanticide through abortion is brilliant), and instead want to use their warped maternal longings to scold and dominate the world? Well, to begin with, you have Holly Hunter in the new Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, which is being roundly castigated as the worst show ever in a swiftly declining franchise. Once, Starfleet …
On 20 January, Cardinal Joseph Zen wrote about the consistory on his blog. His main points. - Because of time constraints, we were asked to discuss and vote to choose only two out of the four topics; the result was that Synodality and Evangelisation were selected. In my view, this wasted an entire afternoon. - What was originally a two-day meeting has now become one day. - The form of the meeting was like a copy of the recent ‘Synod’: everyone sat around round tables chatting; the time for plenary discussion was very little, leaving only two sessions of forty-five minutes. - Before the meeting began, the ‘Synod’ preacher addressed the Cardinals; the Prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith also distributed documents; the Secretary General of the ‘Synod’ also spoke; and even though liturgy was no longer discussed, the Prefect of the Dicastery for Divine Worship also distributed a document. - It seems that someone treated this consistory as a continuation of the Synod on …ច្រើន
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Mark 3,13-19. Jesus went up the mountain and summoned those whom he wanted and they came to him. He appointed twelve (whom he also named apostles) that they might be with him and he might send them forth to preach and to have authority to drive out demons: (he appointed the twelve:) Simon, whom he named Peter; James, son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James, whom he named Boanerges, that is, sons of thunder; Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus; Thaddeus, Simon the Cananean, and Judas Iscariot who betrayed him. shareyourcatholicfaith
Again a desecration at St. Peter's Basilica: In the Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament in Saint Peter’s, dark-skinned adult man threw to the ground everything on the altar — candlesticks, the monstrance and altar cloths — forcing the chapel to be evacuated and closed. The incident occurred on 17 January, during Eucharistic Adoration. This was at least the fourth recent act of desecration in the basilica in recent years. Taken together, these episodes point to weakened vigilance, reduced security and delayed responses inside the Basilica.
Novena - Oremus Like those in Gaza who kept saying Mass. And when they were praying while bombs were going off near their Church. That's how Priests should act. Not throwing Our Lord down the way this Priest just did to comfort anyone at all. The Mass must continue no matter what. Someone should have stopped the old man before he even got half way to the Priest.

U.S. President Donald Trump has invited dozens of world leaders to join his Board of Peace initiative aimed at resolving global conflicts. Diplomats know it would undermine the role of the United Nations and established multilateral diplomacy. The initaitve was started to “help manage” the Gaza ceasefire and reconstruction Trump would serve as chairman — effectively for life. Holy See Reviewing Next Steps Cardinal Pietro Parolin replied: “President Trump is asking various countries to participate. I seem to have read in the newspapers this morning that Italy, too, is considering whether to join or not. We have also received the invitation to the Board of Peace for Gaza. The Pope has received it and we are assessing what to do. We are looking into the matter, and I believe it is an issue that requires some time to be properly considered before giving a response.” Countries that have publicly accepted the invitation Egypt — official acceptance reported. 21.01.2026 Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger did not disclose the Rahner LG 16 – error. The Council would have been traditional and the liberals in schism. Instead he excommunicated Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre for not accepting Vatican Council II interpreted with the false premise of Karl Rahner. It is now clear. Fr. Karl Rahner made a mistake in the book The Christian of the Future (1967.Herder and Herder, New York). On pp.94 and 95 he projects being saved in invincible ignorance ( Lumen Gentiun 16) as being an explicit and known example of salvation outside the Catholic Church. He then infers that LG 16 is an objective exception for the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS). So EENS has become obsolete for him (pp.82-85). In this book made up of talks he gave in Germany in 1965 he criticizes the understanding of extra ecclesiam nulla salus ‘in a very exclusive and permissive way’… So for him there is a new understanding of mission- that of the anonymous Christian, since the dogma EENS …ច្រើន
