The bistro on the Dome will be built. Appeals, discontent within the Curia, nor a petition promoted by figures from the Catholic world were enough to stop the most debated project of recent months in the Vatican. After a long period of silence, the work has been completed and, unless there is direct intervention from Leo XIV, the refreshment point should open as early as September on the terrace of St. Peter’s, at the highest and most panoramic point of the complex, among the gigantic statues of the Apostles...
...The initiative was personally overseen by Cardinal Mauro Gambetti, archpriest of St. Peter’s. His five-year mandate has meanwhile expired, and Leo XIV has not yet decided whether to renew it. According to reliable sources, the original project foresaw a large restaurant with capacity for hundreds of people. Subsequently, the plan was scaled down, though the philosophy remained unchanged. In recent days, some managers from the Fabbrica di San Pietro, who supervised the set-up …Gehiago

A Bistro Above St. Peter’s Dome: Hospitality or Profanation?

VATICAN CITY The bistro on the Dome will be built. Peter’s, at the highest and most panoramic point of the complex, among the gigantic statues of the Apostles. Next to the existing small bar, where today visitors can buy a drink or a coffee after climbing the Dome, a real dining space has been created, equipped with a kitchen and designed to serve ready-made dishes. It will be possible to have lunch or dinner just a few meters from the top of the basilica built over the tomb of the Apostle Peter, with a 360-degree view over the Eternal City. Risks The project risks turning into a new political and symbolic case. After …

Renvoie les riches les mains vides

Even after this, there are many that will still refuse to open their eyes anyway. But these peoples that attack our Western countries fail to see that they will end up crushed by their own golems... That's hilarious. The worst thing is to look alike with our enenmies.

Religious Sisters Calls Listening to Fetal Heartbeat "Torture": Chilean Dominican sister Licarayén Torres has called a proposed law requiring women to listen to a fetal heartbeat before an abortion “torture.” Speaking in a social media video on July 15, she criticized the Chilean “Listen to His Heart” bill, saying: “Is it Christian, is it evangelical to make women go through this obligation that some lawmakers want to impose?”

Is Anti-Zionism Enough? Rabbi Beck, Atzmon & Marouf in Unfiltered Debate

Watch Video >> youtube.com/watch?v=KHgH8AWUdWQ
Gilad Atzmon says anti-Zionism is failing Palestine. Rabbi Beck defends his movement's strategy. Laith Marouf issues a challenge to Jewish institutions. The debate nobody in the movement wants to have. ...
---
NB.
>>Gilad, Laith Marouf is a joke. He claimed that the Catholic and Protestant residential schools in Canada murdered 1/3 of their students! No one claims this. There is no evidence to support this. This is beyond hyperbolic and slanderous. He said this on Garland Nixon's show this past February. I will still listen to the discussion, but Laith Marouf is probably an agent. What is the number one target of Israel? Netanyahu said "Rome." The Catholic Church. The moral foundation and spiritual arsenal of western civilization. Laith also attacks the Catholic Church. Does it work to claim you want to end Zionism but then wage an unprincipled attack against the biggest enemy of Zionism in the West? I say no.<<

While traveling through India, a man passed an elephant camp and suddenly stopped, puzzled by what he saw.
The enormous animals were not kept behind steel bars or restrained with heavy chains. Each elephant was held by nothing more than a thin rope tied around one front leg.
It was obvious that these powerful creatures could have snapped the rope in an instant and walked away. Yet none of them even tried.
The man noticed a trainer nearby and asked, “Why don’t the elephants break free? Surely they’re strong enough.”
The trainer smiled.
“When they are very young and much smaller, we tie them with ropes just like these. At that age, the rope is strong enough to hold them. They pull, struggle, and try to escape, but they cannot.”
“Eventually, they stop trying. As they grow larger and stronger, they continue believing the rope is more powerful than they are. They never test it again.”
The man was stunned.
These majestic animals were capable of freeing themselves at any moment. The rope was …Gehiago

Munich Archdiocese: Can there be a more protestant cereony than this catholic event with bread and whine led by women?

312K views · 33K reactions | The oldest hospital in the UK has opened, for the first time, its Great Hall and painted staircase to the public! After a £10 million restoration project the stunning Great Hall and staircase, painted by none other than William Hogarth, they have fully opened to the public for free. They can be visited on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10am-4pm and the first Sunday of every month. Their free museum all about the history of the hospital has also reopened. I found it genuinely so uplifting to see such a brilliant restoration and so many people in there soaking up these fascinating spaces for the first time. There is a link in my bio to the full blog post, should you like to read more. #london #londonhistory #livinglondonhistory #restorationproject #heritagerestoration #heritage #hiddelondon #freelondon #freethingstodoinlondon | Living London History
