Romanian Authorities Breach Monastery Wall in Pre-Dawn Raid

A property dispute between a Premonstratensian monastery and the city of Oradea in northwestern Romania has escalated after local authorities forced their way into the monastery in the early hours of Wednesday. The Catholic monastery was founded in 1130.
The video below, released by the monastery, shows police officers on site, piles of rubble, and a large hole in a wall through which officials entered the abbey.
Abbot Rudolf Anzelm Fejes described the operation as unlawful, saying authorities arrived "like thieves in the night."
According to local reports, he has since left the monastery.
The city administration says it was enforcing an existing eviction order against the abbot.
At the center of the dispute is ownership of the monastery complex and an adjoining school, both claimed by the religious order and the municipality. The school building is due to undergo renovation.
The incident has triggered support campaigns for the monastery and drawn criticism from representatives of …barrachd

"Chapter XI ~ HOW GOOD MEN IN THEIR CONTEMPLATION HAVE THE LOVE OF GOD BEFORE THEM, AND HOW THEY ARE LIFTED UP INTO GOD
THEY have the Love of God before them in their inward seeing, as a common good pouring forth through heaven and earth; and they feel the Holy Trinity inclined towards them, and within them, with fulness of grace. And therefore they are adorned without and within with all the virtues, with holy practices and with good works. And thus they are united with God through Divine grace and their own holy lives. And because they have abandoned themselves to God in doing, in leaving undone, and in suffering, they have steadfast peace and inward joy, consolation and savour, of which the world cannot partake; neither any dissembler, nor the man who seeks and means himself more than the glory of God."

Notre Dame Priest Abused Students for 17 Years: An investigation of the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, found Holy Cross priest Father Thomas King, a dorm rector and history professor, homosexually abused male students over 17 years during the 1980s and 1990s. He used a "weighing scheme" to see students naked and coerced others with threats of bad recommendations. Despite repeated reports, officials were slow to act, and King wasn't removed from ministry until 2020. Notre Dame's president apologized to victims upon the report's release in May 2026. King himself has remained silent.

Notre Dame Rector Sexually Abused Students Over 17 Years

A former rector at a residence hall at the University of Notre Dame frequently weighed male students naked and alone in a deserted locker room and engaged in unwanted sexual contact with some of them during a 17-year span in the 1980s and 1990s, an investigative report commissioned by the university found.
Victims told the investigator that they reported the behavior of Holy Cross Father Thomas King to various Notre Dame officials over the course of several years, but that inquiries and follow-up were slow and lackluster, the report found.
“While Notre Dame’s commitment to addressing clergy abuse has been clear, the University’s execution has been inconsistent,” states the 25-page
report by Helen Cantwell, a lawyer with the New York law firm Debevoise & Plimpton, which Notre Dame hired to investigate the allegations in September 2025.
The report, released Thursday by the university and based on over 100 interviews over a nine-month period, says investigators have confirmed that 15 …

Devotion to the Sacred Heart is one of the Best Ways to Combat the LGBT Ideology

Devotion to the Sacred Heart is one of the Best Ways to Combat the LGBT Ideology
The month of June is marked by Holy Mother Church as being devoted to the
Sacred Heart of Jesus. However, this holy and beautiful month is also used by the world to promote the ever-increasing influence of LGBTQ ideology, in direct opposition to that most pure love which stems from the Sacred Heart.
Devotion to the Sacred Heart
Evidence of the devotion to the Sacred Heart is found in the writings of the Fathers of the Church, such as the Adversus Haereses of Saint Iranaeus and the writings of Saints Justin Martyr and John Chrysostom. The devotion to the Sacred Heart further grew out of a devotion to the Five Wounds of Jesus. The public practice of both laity and clergy was so widespread that in 1353, Pope Innocent VI instituted a Mass in honor of the beautiful mystery of the Sacred Heart.
However, Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque is the saint that we most associate with the devotion to the Sacred Heart. Starting …

France Moves to Criminalize Priests Who Keep the Seal of Confession

A bill due for debate in the French National Assembly on June 1 could require Catholic priests to report abuse disclosed during confession.
Article 9 of the proposed legislation would remove exemptions for ministers of religion regarding information obtained "in the exercise of their ministry." The provision directly threatens the seal of confession.
In a statement issued on May 29, the French bishops' conference expressed "great concern," warning that the bill could undermine freedom of conscience, freedom of worship, professional secrecy, and educational freedom. The bishops argue that ministers of religion are being explicitly targeted by the amendment, while other forms of legally protected confidentiality like lawyers remain governed by their existing legal frameworks.
The bishops insist they fully support efforts to combat child abuse. However, they argue that forcing priests to violate the seal of confession would cross a line with significant implications for religious liberty …barrachd

On the other hand.............
This is exactly what the Catholic Church needs today, because of the lack of action by the upper echelon at the Vatican in dealing with this problem. The last Pope simply condoned these actions, and now this guy wants to continue the Francis Agenda instead of initiating Castration.
So now, when little Francois goes to Confession with Monsignor, and talks about his sinful actions with Father Jean Paul, he now hits two birds with one stone.
A) Father Jean Paul goes on trial
B) Monsignor gets 3 years in jail plus a hefty fine for trying to cover this up.

Cardinal Pizzaballa Intervenes - Israeli Military Stormed Christian Village

Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa of Jerusalem reportedly intervened with Israeli authorities after its military attempted to stop preparations for a Catholic Marian festival in the Christian Palestinian town of Taybeh on May 29.
Israeli military vehicles entered the village during preparations for the annual celebration honoring Our Lady and ordered organizers to leave the area.
Witnesses also claimed that a stun grenade was deployed during the incident.
The parish priest overseeing the event immediately contacted Church authorities. The matter was then elevated to Cardinal Pizzaballa, who spoke with Israeli officials and secured permission for the festival to proceed.
“Our fear this morning was that radical settlers would disrupt preparations for the Marian Festival. Instead, it was far more disturbing to watch the Israeli military intervene,” said Lex Pouliot of the Vulnerable People Project, who was present in Taybeh.

Toronto Catholics Petition Cardinal Leo to Mediate between Vatican and the FSSPX

More than 140 Catholics residing in the Greater Toronto Area have hand-delivered a letter to Cardinal Frank Leo of Toronto, requesting that he intervene as a mediator between the Vatican and the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX).
The letter was organised by José LoMonaco and his wife. It was submitted this week, according to Newsweek.com on May 29.
Most of the signatories attend FSSPX chapels, though none are formal members of the Fraternity.
The group is asking Cardinal Leo to intervene and get a "paternal approval" from Pope Leo XIV for the FSSPX's upcoming episcopal consecration on July 1.
Cardinal Leo was chosen as the recipient because, as Archbishop of Toronto, he has pastoral responsibility for the signatories and, as a member of the College of Cardinals, has direct access to the Pope.
Neither the Archdiocese of Toronto nor the Holy See Press Office has responded to the petition.

The Vienna Festival opened Milo Rau's three-day theatrical documentary format "The Tribunal of Faith" with an opening session on Friday at the Odeon Theater. Until Sunday, a jury of experts will examine three cases concerning the artistic, institutional, and political appropriation of religion, as well as the misuse of religious practices, symbols, and systems of thought. Under the title "Holy Shitstorm," the boundaries between blasphemy and artistic freedom will be explored on Saturday, while "Stolen Goddesses" will address the culture of appropriation. Fundamentalist theocracies will be the focus on Sunday under the title "Bad Religion." The final decision will be announced in a concluding session.

Another Italian Archbishop Leads Homosexual Vigil

Worse than Germany: On May 21, Archbishop Gherardo Gambelli of Florence presided over a prayer vigil against “homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia”. 300 participants, including clergy, gathered.
The event took place in the parish of Beata Vergine Maria delle Grazie all'Isolotto in Florence, a church located in the Isolotto district. This area is historically associated with ecclesiastical rebellion in the 1960s.
During the vigil, Archbishop Gambelli cited Acts 10:34-35: "God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears Him and does what is right is acceptable to Him."
He presented the passage as a reflection on the dignity of every person and the need to reject prejudice and hatred.
The event featured personal testimonies from unrepentant homosexuals.

Rome Church Vandalised – Human Excrement Left

Four intruders vandalised the parish church of San Paolo della Croce in Rome's Portuense-Corviale district on Wednesday afternoon before being stopped by the assistant priest.
The Diocese of Rome said damage included oil overturned onto the altar, staining the liturgical cloth; pen markings on the same cloth; the glass of a small Madonna image smashed; catechism rooms defaced; and human excrement left on bathroom floors.
The group slipped in while the church was largely empty. They fled after the assistant priest heard suspicious noises and confronted them.
Police spent several hours collecting forensic evidence. The church remained closed for the rest of the afternoon. No arrests have been announced.
Auxiliary Bishop Stefano Sparapani described the episode as "an obvious expression of youth disaffection."
The Diocese stated that Rev Giacobbe Elia, who described the attack as premeditated and spiritually motivated, is neither incardinated in the Diocese of Rome nor serves as a diocesan …barrachd
